Started with the "have-nots" and watched his program die and be reborn at the last minute after he left to join a perennial contender where he had a role and played it to perfection - on the ice and on the bench. favorite memory of the old ralph... -Team reunion weekend in the mid 90's where I accidently bumped into THE MAN - Mr. Ralph Engelstad...walking around the old concourse, by himself, no entourage around, just him. (no !@#$) favorite memory in the new ralph...watching the Fox Sports North pre-game show from the Ralph in the NCAA regional were the infamous comment was made "the only team that doesn't belong in this tournament is Holy Cross" - watching the upset, hearing and living the reaction, and catching sight of Kevin "UNIBROW" Gorg in the arena with his face buried in his hands knowing he had to rationalize this loss to goofer-nation PRICELESS!!!!!! Thank god he was able to eventually expense his brow-shaping! He earned it.

Best performances from 2 ND girls - one who proved she could play at the DI level from Bismarck and a hometown girl from Red River (E-Money!) who proved she could play at this level too - very cool!

Now that St. Clown and Duluth are OUT it's up to the good fans of Western Michigan and Miami to TRAVEL to make the first NCHC conference tourney a success....that's not a question - that's a challenge! You guys had the balls to win your series...GONNA SHOW UP for the tourney or like a pussy watch it on tv??.....TRAVEL AND HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE boys! (fun guarenteed!)

YET decided the best place for their crappy low budget program was the mvfc and the slummit - seems like they found their perfect HOME!! low rent facilities and poor quality competition. When you're welcoming ORAL ROBERTS back into the fold, time to leave the tent brothers!

SOMEWHERE - believe it or not - Gene Roebuck is smiling! He had the balls to shepard this program through the DI Transition when another school (cough, ndsuACHOO! - oh, excuse me) saw their formerly "great" coach BAIL on the DI era so it wouldn't hurt her "legacy". Now their program is total crap and the rebuild will take another half a decade at least.....HAHA!!! I guess Amy was always all about herself though...selfish, self centered, totally DISAPPEARED OFF THE RADAR - she might be living with Joe Chapman (as his MAID of course) for all we know Gene knew this program could succeed at the next level and he took the steps to make sure that happened - including leading the team through the sh*t of the transition and positioning Brew to take the reins. Took some wrangling but look how that has payed off in just 2 years in the Big Sky! Congrats ladies and enjoy it - you earned it! Way to go!!!!
