Currently in my senior year at UND, overall, I am okay with the parking situation. Like any other campus, it could be better. But I have found that buying the ramp pass is well worth the investment. I am guaranteed a spot in the first 2 levels, and the ramp passes work in any S or Residence parking lot, which works great for hockey games because you can park for free in the squires parking lot and get pretty close to the Ralph. Spending $300 for a parking pass seems insane right away, but it's well worth it compared to the $160 S pass.

Never been a big fan of Hugo's, yes they are okay and get the job done. But I hope they look at Hornbacher's in Fargo when they design the inside of their new store. Much better lighting, cleaner, and more selection!

Sad, but true. He showed great improvement between his Freshman and Sophomore year, would have been fun to see what he could do in a 3rd year.

I really hope the upgrades happen. I go to nearly every football game and still have a hard time with the scoreboard. It just seems so awkward and hard to read, maybe it's just me, but it just seems messy, and primitive by today's standards. In the grand scheme of things, I would love to see message boards (like the one that goes around the inside of the REA) where the scoreboards currently are, scoreboards where the replay screens currently are, and 4 new replay screens in the corner posts (like the dome down south). Yes, this would be expensive, but it certainly wouldn't be crazy compared to what other schools have installed lately, and I also think it would really help with the student attendance at games. In my opinion, one of the main reasons students attend hockey so well is because of the atmosphere and in-game experience the Ralph offers.

Montana 17 UND 9 12:00 remaining in the 1st. Not looking good thus far, pretty physical game though.

I'm not a fan of having a bunch different uniform combinations, however I do think that having black helmets would be cool. Can't remember who had matte black helmets with a glossy black logo on them, but they looked awesome!

Couldn't agree more! Not particularly impressed with how this hiring situation was handled, but I'm sure that there is more to the process than we know, and I trust Faison to make a good decision because I believe that he has done a great job overall!

Love the Betty! If the basketball team continues to improve (I am optimistic about the future), would it be possible to add more seating on the ends of the arena? Seems like something that would be easy to do, and very cost efficient per seat. Also, has there ever been much discussion about a larger, hanging scoreboard with a video display? Even the AC has one in the BSA, if that arena is worthy of one, then the Betty definitely is!

How much over the minimum salary would you expect a newly hired candidate to be paid?

Could be off, he didn't give a $ amount on the show, but it was reported later that the amount was $70,000, and that it would put the HC salary over $200,000. Not sure how much of it is for other coaches, but either it is not a lot (20,000 or less), or the $70,000 is a separate pool from the increases for other coaches on staff.
