Isaac needs to figure out another wrinkle on that one misdirection play. Worked real well against Kansas State but once it was on film....PSU had it snuffed out...was like a 6 yard loss the one time. Maybe fake the misdirection and Jerry turns back and throws a screen back to the original direction the play was going. Now that Jerry has run a few times...they have to prepare....since he can and will run on some of those option plays. And that is exactly what we need, QB to have some success running it on the keeper.

There is not a game on the schedule that is not winnable. 11-1 should be the mindset. Let that failed last 2 minutes at KState drive them. LFG!

They already started to continue to run the clock a couple years ago to shorten the game. Yes blowouts like this can seem long. But I dont need college FB games to be shortened any further. Next weeks game should be good and be a 4 quarter game.

I watched a crappy Youtube replay version of the game. The announcer said Jerry lost his helmet and had to come out, he didnt lose his helmet though. He just adjusted it and ran off the field. I don't think he had to leave the game, I think it was designed for JTJ to come in and TV announcer didn't say anything about JTJ not being able to find his helmet from what I heard.

Unless someone else loses doubt will will move up much beating PSU. When we beat Montana on the road....they better have us up there and ahead of Montana!

As frustrated as I was eith OC at end of the game, that series where JTJ went in.....I was like ......no.....we are just in a groove on this drive, in the past we would do that and was always an obvious run and we'd get stuffed, was hoping would throw to catch them off and did. That one.....was playing to win.

I said it a while back that the biggest difference between last year and this year was going to be the mentality and grit, and that this year.....while I dont think we will go undefeated, I feel that we truly have a shot at winning every game we go in to, I feel that even more so now. Never felt that way under previous staff. I will literally now expect to win every game remaining on our schedule, doesn't mean it will happen....but I know it can. Pissed at OC for that 2 minute series and what could have been. Lots of things to clean up, it was week 1. Definitely super perplexed about Z not seeing the field. Even last night, I was like....Z is a senior and been so solid, how is that transfer getting the start. Thought the transfer really must be something, well he should be 3rd string at best. Definitely the biggest head scratcher coming out of today. SS needs the ball more, so does Deng. Agree the Dennis expirement as starter should perhaps be over. I guess it was only week one....we will see.

Agree with no moral victories anymore, and our own OC f'd up at the end. I guess 20 years from now the players just get to sit around talking about how close the game was. Lots of positives though for sure, and I expect us to destroy Portland State. Then go upset Montana.

Realized me feed waa like two minutes behind so stopped following on here until game over. Yep as soon as Freuchte ran it twice straight up the middle for one yard, I knew it was like 90 percent chance Kstate win. F'ing ridiculous.
