Time to refocus, and replicate that first half......minus the last 5 minutes. If the offense can keep scoring....we can win this....as they are likely on their backup QB.

The way this season goes, I predict UNC getting a long pass here and scoring another TD.

21 points for USD in the first half against Youngstown, what happened to your blueprint? Did the Youngstown coaches not watch that blueprint on tape from last week?

Last week I was still hoping for a season saving performance and us getting the win against Davis, well that didn't come close to happening. UNC is better than Davis, so given that we really haven't gotten any healthier, based on what I've seen the last three week and us not able to stop anybody I'd say 49-38 UNC. I'll be hoping for something like 45-42 UND. Until I see it, I'm not convinced we can stop any average (to even slightly below average team) from putting up 40 points. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised tomorrow, but not holding my breath. I sure hope we can somehow change things and win tomorrow to at least have some type of positive mental state of mind before we go to Montana, they may score 40 on us in the first half if things continue on from last week.

I agree, I think it was a legitimate question and some of us have been wondering it too. Thinking everybody is just extra touchy given the way things have gone this season.

This is probably partially true, although in this case it doesn't have much to do with our loss not looking so bad. We've had three bad losses now and are going to having a hard time even winning a game or two this year. So it's not like we are going anywhere this year where a bad loss hurts us come playoff selection time. We have way bigger issues this year than worrying about that USD loss.

Yes, we will get to see how it all plays out. Your blue print scenario make it sound like now that teams know this, USD won't even be able to move the ball going forward, and get lit up on defense and be lucky to not get beat by more than 20 points. I think there is a big chasm between this new revelation of what other teams may have learned about how to play them, and what will actually happen going forward. I think their defense though may have gotten exposed some though.

Yeah when a team gets up by 31 points and is blowing a team out.....that team kicking their butt never lets up, starts slacking a little, maybe loses a little focus....plays a little softer on defense etc., yeah that never happens. Can opponents take a way some things on USD from that, yeah probably. But if they had to reset the score at 0-0 at the beginning of the 3rd quarter I hardly doubt Western comes out and completely blows out USD even with their revised game plan and adjustments. That said I do agree with the earlier comment you made about pumping the breaks a little on USD. Would be ridiculous to crown them the MVFC champs at this point, but they do seem like the real deal this year.

That loss to USD is the least of our worries at this point.

You don't have 13 starters out at the same time every 4 years, this is not a 1 in 4 situation. I'd venture to guess that since I started watching UND football in the early 90's.....we've never had 13 starters out at the same time, but no I'm not going to go check and verify that.

Very true, but let's remember we were within 14 points of Utah on the road with 4 minutes left on the 4th quarter, before we got decimated. I am as frustrated as everybody....but let's remember that

Alright boys, thankfully they are heading to the bar so I am forced to shut down my laptop. Not sure if I even want to check back on here for score updates. We are the bad news bears on defense right now. We aren't going to win a game the rest of the year. I'm with the poster about hoping for an earthquake to put an end to this.

We've had the embarrasing loss to Sioux Falls, but this may go down as an epic embarrassment of a seaon.

I think im going to head up to the mountains the weekend we play Montana so I am out of cell service, they may hang 90 on us.

Not that we were likely to win, but that Santiago fumble i think is the equivalent of that missed sack against MSU. If we score there it's a game for a while. Now we are likely looking at 28-10
