NDSU TE's with two receptions and a TD in first quarter of their game. (Note - on a guys weekend with 2 NDSU grads so we are following both - normally I wouldn't know what NDSU was doing) I was telling them how we never use TE's.

It hasn't come on for me yet either.

What's the status of our RB's as to who will be available today?

It will be interesting to see how the team comes out and plays. Will they still be hungover from that depressing loss last week and be flat, or will they be inspired. I'm really not sure what to expect since we have often been underwhelming at home. Hoping for more of a Montana type game though.

I agree that one was a really good call, and Wanzek likely would have been the one throwing it if he wasn't out and probably completed it. It was super frustrating to miss on that play. However I think we hit Maag on a long pass one or two plays later and got down to about the same spot, if I remember correctly. When I think of all of the the "what could have" in this game, I thought about this play missing....but since I think we hit Maag deep it didn't have a big impact. Again, if I recall correctly.

No doubt, I'm not even sure if they tried faking the sweep to McKinney against Idaho. And yeah coming up with a new play off the fake sweep to McKinney would be what you'd like to see to take advantage of teams starting to focus on it.

What happened the McKinney on the jet sweep last weekend? Sure Weber shut it down, but it worked against everyone else. I don't think McKinney even ran one against Idaho but I can't remember for sure.

Brady - love watching this kid bulldoze right through guys. That run against Sac St. epitomizes Brady, where he pushed and carried guys 5 yards into the endzone after using his speed and agility to get that far. Love his heart and will to win. Santiago - Rushing for over 100 yards against Washington. That first game against Wyoming where he emerged out of nowhere. So many long runs. Love his heart and will to win too....it was especially evident against Washington. Palmborg - PWO to team captain...gotta love that! Deion Harris - all of the pick 6's Fiedler - bringing a mean streak as some have mentioned, and made some nice catches. Too bad he couldn't have gotten more. Aplin - Steady and important the last two years Greer - Being a stud against Washington and playing his heart out without a real back up in that game since Tank was hurt Tank - for being tank and just blowing up the middle so many times. And I think it was against SHSU where he made a great play to stop the RB on 4th down. Stanley - lots of good catches a few years ago when he was healthy. Glad he is back now that we are short on WR's and glad for him being able to play again as a senior. Cieslak - Bulldozing off the edge.

That's what I was thinking too. God forbid we take a timeout and make sure we get the protection handled correctly in a crucial part of the game.

Oh I agree!! I'm just speculating as to what I think Bubba might do. I could see him keeping Rudy. Both Rudy and Kostich need to be replaced at minimum in my opinion.

Totally agree. However I feel like he will just get rid of Kostich thinking that will satisfy people.

Should have been left at Stony Brook. Running into kicker and blocked punt in Richmond game cost us that game, then blocked punt in Stony Brook lost that game.....I had seen enough by then. 3 more blocked punts this year, all of them not even close to getting the kick off...the guys were taking the ball off kickers shoe. I've seen more blocked punts under Kostich to last me a lifetime. Curious as to the last time either NDSU or SDSU have gotten a punt blocked.

I've been looking forward to the NAU game all year because I can drive up there and see a game in person. Yesterday I didn't even feel like going because the season is basically lost (no playoffs), but I will still go up there by myself. Hoping Santiago is healthy and playing by then, would like to see him play one last time...and Brady. Hopefully there will be a few other UND fans up there that I can find to tailgate with.

Too bad we put in our second string and didn't even really try the last 10 minutes of the game.

So will we be rooting for Montana to beat Idaho this weekend, probably huh? Maybe Idaho can pull a huge upset against Florida the last week of the season...that would help! So freaking frustrating....all we had to do was properly get out punts off and hold on to a 10 point lead and take care of business the next two weeks and we probably have a home game in first round.

We were, we will be out of the polls this week. I'm glad PSU has been playing better, we would need to pound them and NAU to even have a chance at playoffs. Even then I say there is about a 1% chance we get in.

The thing is If we fire the whole staff, we likely lose a lot of the good recruits, particularly that QB. Because you know we will be lame and do a 30 day hire period, which means signing day will have come and gone in December before we name a new coach and we will be screwed with half a class. Maybe some good current players transfer. It happened last time, dont think some players wont leave again if we fire the whole staff. That said I do think Bubba isn't the right guy and we need to make a change. Chaves has his work cut out for him, hope he earns his paycheck appropriately.

I love Brady O., love his heart and his will to win. Love him speaking the truth here.....that statement echoes exactly what has happened in so many games. If we had 11 Bradys on the Field at the same time we would never lose a game! Well if we also had a Brady O mindset coaching too

Bubba may fire Kostich to make it look good, they will keep Bubba....he will keep Rudolph....and we'll see the same sh*t next year. That is my prediction.

Bubba: "this was a tough loss, we fought hard, we just didn't make enough plays, we need to clean things up and do better". That's pretty much exactly what he as going to say

You could pretty much pull up about 15 other post game comments from Bubba in the past.....they will be the exact same freaking thing again this week.

Totally. Prior to coming to UND..... if Rudy submitted his resume to any other FCS team in the country...…..they would have laughed, he wouldn't have even gotten an interview.

I hope Zimm or Boltman plays the next game, we've got nothing to lose now. Might as well figure out what those other guys can do.
