  1. You gotta remember tho we run a super duper complicated offense that takes 4.5 years to learn. And since Bubba's first recruiting class doesn't count, we won't know how to evaluate Rudolph until game 7 of 2019, when those 5th year seniors have mastered the super duper playbook. Until then, you need to ignore everything going on around you and pledge your blind allegiance to the regime. Join the Borg. Resistance is futile.
  2. Feel for the guy. But at least my nightmare scenario of Wentz leading the Eagles to an NFC championship game win over the Vikings is not possible anymore.
  3. Agreed. Or, if you don't have the horses to do that, do something different on first down. Or second down. Put the defense on their heels without having to physically put them on their heels. But none of that's happening with this regime. Rudolph will keep guiding the sleigh straight into the snowbank as tiny tots with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to watch, amiright? I hope I am wrong, but I think anyone thinking playoffs next year is being extremely optimistic. Being independent we may need 8 wins to get in.
  4. That's the power of love.
  5. Guess I'm one of the few that views a team that has been almost permanently number 1 having to slip in order for someone to be better than them.
  6. I'm not sure how to vote. They've won 5 of 6 titles and are in the hunt again. They have to slip in order for UND to surpass them.
  7. By my calculations we're at least 49 years away from the next one.
  8. And I sure hope you're right.
  9. I think he's saying it is impossible for younger brothers to be good at sports. Just ask Cooper Manning.
  10. Part of my agreeing with Oxbow6 was in regard to this coaching regime being successful in the MVFC. With the undying allegiance to Rudolph, I don't see it happening. I would rather have a Montana type situation, where a packed stadium of rabid fans know they have an excellent chance of making the playoffs every year. And as we all know once you're in, anything can happen. I'd rather have a fired up fan base pouring money towards football that sometimes thinks we're better than we are. I fear a few .500 seasons in the MVFC will lead to football apathy in Grand Forks.
  11. I agree. in the long run leaving the Big Sky could very well end up saving UND nothing.
  12. What's that old saying, something like ya gotta pee to play?
  13. Correct. Keep on hand supply low, so to jail you will not go.
  14. Denver doesn't need help scheduling OOC games as they are a desirable destination. They can find more attractive OOC opponents to play.
  15. Once they figure out just in time inventory, the sky's the limit.
  16. You know, just because your girlfriend is enormous, that alone doesn't make you a rancher. You need a herd, not just one.
  17. Man, you're annoying. Could you point out where he said Nicholls St. was ever leading?
  18. I think I found a way to make everyone happy https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.eater.com/platform/amp/2016/1/5/10719694/gold-doughnut-manila-social-club-williamsburg
  19. I think this fits here.
  20. 8). I wore a Sioux t-shirt to a game, consequently dividing the fan base.
  21. It was more cost effective for CHS to purchase a share of CF Industries to secure fertilizer needs than to go ahead with the Spiritwood project. Better sell your house now and move to Fargo, Moser, before Grand Forks is a ghost town and all property is worthless.
  22. It started in Montana and has now drifted to Kentucky.
  23. Holy digging up two to four-year-old dead conversations Batman. I think this is the third one I've noticed in a week. You think the world is out to get Grand Forks. We get it.
  24. i think it's for the shuffleboard team at del boca vista.
