I still don't understand why the Nickel can't be played for, it's a copy of US currency. The NCAA has nothing to say about a regular season game trophy.

If it was widely being used why was he the only kid to fail the test? There are 18 players tested after every playoff game. Doesn't make sense that only one failed if this was being handed out by the staff. There are always 3 sides to a story. In this case its the kids, the schools and the truth. Can you have separate conference affiliations at the FBS level? I thought they had to be all sports conferences.

Stop blaming the coaching staff. The team had plenty of chances to win the game and the players blew it. The players have to learn how to win consistently. They obviously aren't there yet.

The MVC schools are too stupid to realize the potential of the Dakota schools. They think the MVC is as great as it was 5 years ago. They also don't want to travel beyond their little circle.

IPFW has wanted out for awhile but they have no where to go. Rumors are the Summit is looking at UMKC and Augustana. I don't know how realistic Augie is but Sanford is willing to throw a bunch of money at it. If you are counting on Summit League FB then I wouldn't count on WIU sticking around either so you best be looking for 2 schools with FB to add. Maybe if IPFW and WIU left the Montana's maybe more inclined to join but I doubt it. NC and Weber might be more realistic but again I don't see it happening.

Lol your sugar daddy better hurry up if we are gonna meet your prediction of 2025. It'll take 2-3 years to build a stadium. That doesn't include the planning and approval stages which might be even longer. Oh and REA had such a dramatic impact on cash flow that we are cutting sports.....

Lol you do realize we are already in the same conference right? There's nothing stopping 8 FCS schools from seeking a waiver to go FBS separately. Once they are FBS they can have a scheduling alliance, some could call it a conference...

If IPFW and WIU bail look for UND, NDSU, USD, SDSU to try to convince UM, MSU, ID and IDS to join. The Summit could sponsor FB and with the new precedent set by Liberty's conference invite waiver the possibility of FBS would be very real. If that happened and NMSU joined it would be one of the better G5 conferences instantly and a pretty good mid major BB conference too. Not to mention that's 9 impressive academic state schools!

Glad it's finally done and out in the open. Seems like a reasonable deal. I would assume the buyout is whatever's left on his contract at the time so 1 year = $140,000, 2 years = $280,000.....
