  1. Agree! It was a “moral loss” tonight. Just texted my bud that we might be swept by the Beavers as even when we’re real good they normally give us fits. We are maybe not even “good” anymore. Former Sioux player Barsness on Midco called them out for their lack of urgency (I.e., essentially not hustling 100% as used in other sports). In the 2nd period it was very evident. Just no excuse for what’s happening considering the skill advantage they supposedly have over a team like Bob Morris.
  2. Thought I saw in the NFL this season teams are like 64-5 when scoring 30 or more points. Believe UND has 3 such losses this season. Yoy.
  3. You said it. Nothing to really gain this wknd (a little confidence maybe if sweep fairly convincingly) but only lose if split or dare say if get swept then a PW ball buster.
  4. Here’s something that doesn’t ring hollow. UND’s 3 women’s team sports of volleyball, softball and soccer record-wise for the last 4 complete seasons in conference play only have a total combined overall winning percentage (I threw out the 10 soccer ties) of just 27% with a total record of 47 W - 124 L. That is just ridiculous. If you throw in the 4th women’s team sport basketball it rises slightly to 31% overall with total record of 74W - 165 L. I can bet you the other 3 Dakota schools come nowhere near approaching that level of mediocrity.
  5. You sum it up perfectly.
  6. I keep thinking the same thing. Gives in chance for a rebound.
  7. You nailed it. I thought the same.
  8. Regardless, DU is s superior team.
  9. WTF?! Surely you jest?!
  10. Ya might be on to something..
  11. You said it. Out played. Seems to me playing at home and away is starting to be the common denominator. Not exactly sure though what their home snd away record is for this season though but just a hunch. To their credit, they did fare well at Denver, St Cloud, and BU.
  12. As the third period drags on, this is getting more frustrating to watch. Can we score a goal 5 on 5?! Painful to watch. In last month we have made both CC and Omaha look like # 1 team in the country.
  13. Agree. Slight sarcasm on my part. Note I stated a bit more urgency from several players would sure help. I share your frustration.
  14. Good question. Being dominated this wknd by a team fighting for NCAA tourney life. Are we sorta like the Sioux football team? Home warriors but road cupcakes. We got our ass swept at CC and now happening again at Omaha, both good/decent teams for sure but not top 5 ranked.
  15. Yup. The proverbial hot goalie yet again. A bit more urgency from several players would sure help. Is Dylan James playing tonight? I may have nodded off for a few minutes but I’ve yet to hear his name called tonight on Midco.
  16. We are playing far and happy. Gotta be better. I get it the red cows have a lot in the line but amp it up a notch Sioux.
  17. Win a face off. Geez.
  18. I’ve wondered about that too. My guess in UND didn’t recruit him as I thought he was a UND fan growing up.
  19. I’ve always said what you just stated/agree fully.
  20. Just the opposite! Highlight reel game winning goal by James to put the Sioux up 3-2!
  21. I hear ya. Just one NCAA tourney game win since winning the natty with a loaded team in 2016. Also failed to qualify for the NCAA tourney on three (?) occasions, I believe. Heck, I think the UND football team has equaled that same success in terms of the number of NCAA tourney game wins during that same timeframe. Yoy.
  22. Let’s hope so. I think next wknd at home vs a not very good Duluth team will be a good measuring stick of who this team is. Under the circumstances, anything less than a sweep is unacceptable. Even if we sweep but play two fairly close games, I would still have some concern.
  23. Why do you say that (your second sentence? I don’t necessarily disagree maybe but curious what’s the basis for it in your opinion.
