  1. 1. O-line 2. DB 3. D-line... We seemed to get beat in the trenches in pretty much every game. The d-line was basically non-existent this season and is something that needs to be addressed desperately. Obviously the o-line was terrible, hopefully somebody can step up and be an anchor on the o-line next season (preferably Dustin Adams). Clearly the defensive backfield needs help. We have been terribly weak at one corner and one safety position every year for the last 3 or 4 years.
  2. Agreed. I think they are cool. Now if the Bette could just get a video board so we could see a replay every once and a while...
  3. I think Braun getting the to the rim any time he wanted in a way hurt NDSU because he was not passing the ball or even looking to pass. It doesn't concern me very much that he was able to get to the rim so easily because there was plenty of times that I believe Huff would have stopped him. Jones was very very smart in keeping Huff off of him. Jones approached it like teams approach Kobe, let him get his points. It takes away a lot from other players finding a rhythm. As far as Webb, he played a solid game at point and defensively as well. He had five assists to one turnover. Also three rebounds and a couple steals. Once Jamal can get his scoring going and is able to get to the rim like we have seen a lot in the past, it will add a another dimension to the offense.
  4. here is the rpi for cbssports.com http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/rankings/rpi/index1 it has UND at number 1 for strength of schedule.... I mean I know we play Wisconsin Oregon and Butler, but really there is no way our schedule is stronger than that of ACC teams, Big 10, Big 12, etc...
  5. NDSU was at 75 and most recently 88... I expect to see UND to make a huge leap up once these are updated. http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-rpi
  6. I'm pretty sure I saw at least one, either a commit or a recruit I'm not sure.
  7. Great job ladies!
  8. Yes!!!! Hopefully he can contribute behind the three point line and be a solid defender.
  9. Notice how he said "in it's own way."
  10. Would you like to compare facts?
  11. I'd say he did better than the couple of years before he did it.... After all, he didn't recruit Mackey
  12. I think our athleticism defensively might surprise them a little, but if we can't get the rebound it won't matter. Hopefully we can push the pace a little with this smaller lineup. Ill take Wisconsin by 13, but we play with them most of the game. Another thing that might work to our advantage is the hand checking rule change..
  13. Anyone know the attendance record at the Betty? The ndsu game should be at capacity so I'm just curious.
  14. good article! "This team fears no one." .... As it should! Go Sioux.
  15. UND now at 108 in the RPI..
  16. UNI was picked 3rd in the MVC.
  17. I would hope that UND wins by at least 35 and has under 10 turnovers...
  18. 31-24 UC Davis. Bartles throws for over 300 but has two interceptions to go along with zero forced turnovers by our defense.
  19. 69-49. Won't get the upset, but it has been a much better showing than last year against ISU.
  20. Now down 60-45, 10 minutes to go. Both teams in foul trouble.
  21. Down 12 at half. 45-33. Both teams getting into foul trouble. Hopefully UND can draw a few more fouls than ISU in the second half or it will get out of hand.
  22. Buck is 5-5 from the field with 12 points. 33-30 ISU
  23. ISU seems to live or die by the three ball, quick 6-0 UND run. 26-21 ISU
  24. UND having a tough time on offense, Buck is the exception. 26-18 ISU
