Bottom line - UND is 3-0 against Duluth this weekend. The Sioux hockey team has nothing to prove to them.....conversely Duluth has SOMETHING TO PROVE!

Yeah nice work UMD...loved to watch that smack down they handed out this past weekend. I watched every second of it. Similar to the smack down the Sioux took in Wisconsin albeit not quite as bad. The way I see it - UMD is the "best" team in the WCHA right now however the Sioux are 3-0 against the "best" team in the WCHA right now.....Need I say more? I think ya got to be a little worried don't ya? Coupla stumbles along the way to a sub par Wisconsin squad does not a season make. No team wins every game they are supposed to that is why the league is so damn solid. I look for the Sioux to (for the forth and fifth time this reason) put the smack down on the Dogs.

He also has no credibility with certain almuni as well (myself included). I'm not worried he won't last long in the seat.

Well if the webcast from the earlier series against the Sioux is any indication of what the confines of their area is like I can understand why. Looked like it was a dank areana and dimmly lit sheet. Then again it might have just been the crappy webcast I got on my end.

Upon first glance at that photo I got a chuckle....due to the close proximity to one another it almost appears the one in back is "mounting" the one in front. Nonetheless...pretty good humor - and yes I do believe those look like prairie dogs.

Anyone catch a weather report for this weekend up in the Forks? -30F ambient sound like it is in the ballpark?

Maybe it was just me...I walked out of Mariucci on Saturday night not the least bit upset about the loss. It wasn't like we out played the Gophers and out shot them 40 to 20. We were out played and out shot hand down and didn't deserve to win. Even if the damn goal had counted chances are they would have beaten us in the OT session the way they were moving the puck. Obviously Rip van Winkle here must have been asleep the last two days while this topic was getting beat to death (not by myself).

Moronic......You summed it up....6 of eight points...three of the games we won by at minimum two goals and we lost the forth by only a goal having played horribly that night. I chalk it up to the guys taking a night off after a big win on Friday. Again I hope we meet em' at the X......Home of the "Sioux" during the anthem was defining during Friday's game.

To my knowledge Blais and Lucia have the same deal (250K base) plus other perks and incentives. Blais I think has a country club membership thrown in as well in addition to some hockey camp type deals which bump up his bottom line substancially.

You pegged it! I think it was like 1990 or 1991. If I recall correctly we had three or four consecutive days of extreme cold that year of -25 or so ambient. For the life of me I don't understand why you would cancel class at -32 but not -25.....Skin freezing within 5 seconds of being exposed would be a good indicator I think.

To answer the question....I went to UND for 4....errrr 5 years and I remember class being cancelled ONCE for cold weather. I believe it was -32 ambient and -75 wind chill that day. Twas a long day at the bar!

Sure do...that would be for the BRS system..... Saved that guys tail down in Texas a few years back if I recall correctly right after taking off from Love Field. Have a few colleagues that work for them up in Duluth. Nice machines....little spendy but can't beat the performance and avionics package they come with. Who knows someday I might be able to swing a share in one.
