Fetch: In TC_Transplants world your season ticket status and being a Sioux fan for 30 years would classify you as a "bandwagon fan" because you just joined SS.com in Dec 2003.

I know of very few Sioux Hockey season ticket holders that live in Minneapolis - I'm one of them. You think bandwagon fans would fly up to GFK 13 weekends a season and donate money to the alumni at the Coaches Club level.....Doubt it.

Perhaps that was when I learned about it clown a$$. I graduated from UND in 1992...Have been a Sioux Hockey fan since 1989...those were lean years if you recall. So thanks for your thoughts - go back to pi$$onit.com

Amen to being bummed. Same here. Just feels like this year was wasted with what we had. Ranked #1 all year (almost the entire year), beating just about every opponent we were "supposed to beat"... Then taking one in the shorts against a team that doesn't even qualify for the Final Five. If you ask me this is one of the most disappointing finishes that I can recall during the last 10 years. The 2002-2003 loss to FSU wasn't nearly as disappointing because of the collapse at the end of the year. This hurts....

Throw in the phenom season T. Couture had in net one year (was it 91?). Back in the day...good times. Romaniuk used to drive this early 70's puke green chevy impala around campus..What a bomber.

Speaking of great guys....Russ Romaniuk....low key...down to earth...I had about 10 classes with him.....and what a scoring machine. Didn't he notch 40 goals one year?

Think I was in some of those in Gamble hall. Yeah I second that. Thought VERY highly of himself.

Great season UMD....Just looking at UND's record against 2 of the Frozen Four teams....9-1-1 this year. Yeah I'm sad!

Doesn't this just sum it up....Yeah the refs blew that game for UM. Should have been 5-0 for cripes sake.

That is a hell of a long post for a Gopher fan. They wouldn't let you post that on POI? Whats the point here? We realize that - and to top it off I'm from out east (Boston specifically) and the only hockey considered in that regional is compliments of the annual Beanpot and it's participants. We KNOW the WCHA have a superior conference. That is all that matters...Just look at the last 10 National Champions to tell you that.
