That is the point..I don't think we got screwed at all. There is no instant replay available in college hockey to my knowledge. I don't even think it is worth the key strokes to even debate about (subject to your opinion however). The play happened in an instant. It took frame by frame slo mo replays for all of you to develop you're individual cases on the matter. Maybe I missed something but I didn't see any replays used in making the high sticking and subsequent "no goal" call. I didn't lose any sleep saturday night feeling like we got the shaft. Again we took 3 of 4 this year. Say what you will .....but so far we won the battle. I'm looking forward to the next meeting - which will most likely be in the Final Five (what could possibly be a better match-up).

Folks...We took 3 of 4 this year from UMN....I have one word for you....SUCCESSFUL. We didn't get the short end of the stick no matter how you measure it.

Section 102 is lower bowl and row A is the first row....At least that is how the seating works in my section (107).

Bottom line ....the Gophers out played the Sioux saturday night and won the game by a goal. I wasn't the least bit upset by the ending - I think the call was fair. This from someone who bleeds green during hockey season.

What is the verdict with Potulny's injury? Season ending or 4 to 6 weeks?

I agree with you....I just couldn't believe that there were so many people leaving with the game on the line like that. Both of those teams are capable of scoring multiple goals in the weaning seconds of a third period - especially with a man advantage.

Comment about that penalty to Greene.....I believe there was a 1:38 left and the Gophs had a face-off in the Sioux zone with a one man advantage - down one goal. I was standing at the center ice rail in section 7 and "a bunch" of Gopher fans were streaming past me heading for the exits. I believe we took the face-off (one of very few that night) and scored the ENG :20 second later. I was floored that fans would head for the exits like that with that much time remaining and them being on the power play.

Hey Pos...enough on the BMW....I have been driving one for 6 years now...why would you drive anything else. American cars are JUNK. Yep drive it in the winter and never lets me down. Good weekend of hockey. Good win for the Gophers this weekend. I'm on my way to POI to see how much boasting is going on. I will take 3 of 4 any year.

Got out played tonight - no big deal. Can't win every game. No sense dwelling on the could shoulda and woulda..Gophers won...good for them. Means nothing really in the big picture. We move on and sweep DU next weekend.

Ahh no that would be wrong. I dislike Vanek because of his work ethic. He is LAZY and overrated in my opinion. He can score goals like no one's business as he hangs on the blue line like no one can...... but I doubt that type of attitude and work ethic would be tolerated in DB's system playing for the Sioux. So again - I hate the "M" and I dislike Vanek. The title of this thread is borrowed from POI - not originated on ss.com.

You may be right..then again they don't need it on POI either - see whinning. Suck it up. Game was played evenly....1st period a draw...2nd period to UMN...third to the Sioux (when it counted). Ref's didn't cause the outcome. UMN got outplayed 1 3/4 out of three periods - end of story. They lost, deal with it no reason to post a title about who is the biggest a$$ on the Sioux - just returning the favor.

Figured we better get this thread rolling here - Brandt is taking a beating from all the whinning going on over on POI. I vote Vanek being lazy and an a$$ on the Gophers
