The Gold Star band doesn't have other sponsors? Pretty anal behavior on the part of the AD. And like Bisonville is not 99% gossip by gluttonous 50 y. o.s with beer bellys.
-
So your saying the Gold Star band shouldn't be at the games because their aren't part of Taylor's and Dorn's empire. Dorn is such a joke of an administrator, and Taylor continually backs her. She probably wanted them renamed the Marching Dykes is honor of flood fighting, and they didn't accept so they left the athletic department.

In a Twin Cities based market ...

The MAC has no interest. They took in UMass, and know they will either cut them loose or double down with Stony Brook and James Madison. Stony Brook has the academic credentials to get in the Big Ten if they had a stadium. Either of those two would have a bucket of interest from the MAC, while Taylor can't get a phone call returned.
-
A lot of that is due to pressure by Gopher hockey. They don't want to share a broadcaster.
-
Is Robinson travelling with the team? Are Munkeby's parents on-track to go to all games, including road ones? Need to win the ISU game. ISU will be tough at home. Weber is a lot like NDSU: easy win.
-
The three arena's that need updates are now: NAU - Dome ISU - Dome Idaho - Dome When Portland's and Sac's are completed, will UND have the smallest venue? UNC?
-
Since my name gets brought up: The Gold Star Band is part of the music department, not the athletic department. By that reasoning, the Gold Star Band can't play at football games. You'll never hear Taylor suggest that, because its preposterous. He and the women's AD Dorn with Ruly behind can't stand how the dance team escaped their command and they now have a vendetta against them. An award winning dance team can't even perform at school events! Sound like the fights that the Dorn and her agenda routinely get into there. Nice to know all is well at NDSU. The athletic department has a cancer growing on the women's side.

NAU beat ISU 3-2 at ISU, so both NAU and PSU remain two games behind. UND's most dangerous games are at ISU and PSU and home to NAU.
-
UND up on Montana State, 2-0
-
Nice to have breathing room. The middle tier of UNC, SAC St, Montana only seem to be a hazard to ISU, PSU, and NAU. We'll take it.

vote for coach! Don't let NDSU outvote us for the coach award.

Remember these days? -
Most of those games were without Brekke and Huff. Funny that never gets mentioned.
-
In other words, NDSU cant move to FBS because nobody wants them.
-
They need another baseball team or the NCAA takes away the basketball bid next year. UND and UNC put theirs in the WAC. The Summit has no options except NJIT.
-
Appy st - forgot Villanova - they would have to leave the BEast. That wont happen.

17-3 probably ties for the conference. PSU, ISU, and NAU have a few more matches. I think we lose at PSU and probably ISU. Tieing for the championship is good enough to win our first Big Sky title. The key is to win is PSU during the conference playoffs.

http://www.missouristatebears.com/genrel/101813aaa.html Looks like the swimming team is on its way up. Losing to USD and SDSU last year was unacceptable.

Missouri State students enacted an additional fee to pay for expansion of football to a 21,000 stadium, + new track/field, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey surfaces. Missouri State is believed to have an open bid to the Sunbelt and the MAC may be interested. If Missouri State leaves the MVC, it would open up a football slot in that conference. The leading contender would be Murray St, which can't move unless is gets a football slot. Missouri State and Wichita State are believed not to be happy with the Illinois bent toward expansion. Wichita St is quietly checking with the MWC, AAC, Big East to find a slot. If Missouri St gained Sunbelt admission, they would be eligible for an extra $1 million FBS playoff payment. http://www.missouristatebears.com/genrel/101813aaa.html Coincidentally, NMSU announced that it may offer mens soccer, something the WAC badly needs. It also stated that is in the WAC for the long-haul, as the Sun Belt does not have interest in NMSU all sports. The WAC looks to add two. http://crimsonaggiec...ews-102113.html

That all I'm saying. As it is, the winners are Denver, Miami, and Notre Dame. They got what they bargained for. The loser is UND - they lost on the deal. The weakest partners is the NCHC were thrilled: the strongest one UND was shafted.
-
Nd was looking out for its iterests. UND did a poor job.
-
The NCHC got outmanuevered by ND so they had no choice but tell them to stick it. The NCHC was stuck with members and a contract that were not ideal.
-
That's a pretty ridiculous statement. Spin from the NCHC. When it became apparent the Notre Dame itself could deliver a better TV contract than the NCHC could itself, Notre Dame spun itself into Hockey East helping to get them Hockey East on NBC Sports too. The NCHC only took W Mich and SCSU when it was left with no other options, as Notre Dame was blocking them. Notre Dame wielded all kinds of power in the NCHC, even though it wasn't a member. The NCHC wanted NBC Sports as its carrier.
