  1. The first handful of games his O game popped. I believe he was putting up point too. I’m talking real early, like the first 3-4 games. Definitely some defensive miscues in there. But to get benched the rest of the year when there are definitely others who are super easy to play against? Not sure he should have been written off that quickly unless there was an attitude issue. This is about development, he has basically wasted two years. He should have played USHL last year and this year is obviously worst case scenario. To not even get in games, given where our team is, basically is the writing on the wall.
  2. I really hope I’m wrong, but I would be blown away if Johnson is back. He was so good to start the year too.
  3. I noticed that. He had a G and A tonight…that’s a step in the right direction. Hopefully he goes on a heater here.
  4. 100% elite league numbers blended in.
  5. #50 is more like it I’m thinking, some have Perron going in the first. I’m not so sure anymore, unless he’s current hurt. His numbers have taken a significant dip since his hot start. They moved Celebrini off his line i believe and every came to a halt. Hopefully he he picks it back up. on a more positive note, Emerson still cruising along. Slipec struggling as well.
  6. A lot of people saw that coming a few years back with the recruiting trail. Only a matter of time. And it’s getting stronger.
  7. We need some secondary scoring more than anything. Look at the stats…we have 2nd line players that get PP time that are putting up second pairing D numbers. Been tough sledding.
  8. Watching the goofs Michigan game was tough…depressing watching two super skilled teams have an all out battle. I miss that.
  9. In skimming through his game log…he’s sure on the ice a ton when the other team scores. I hate the +/- stat when looking at individual stats…but the trend def looks iffy here.
  10. Not sure what to think about that
  11. Yeah they got a diamond in the rough there. Covid probably masked what he was doing, maybe grew later than his peers? Either way…last years junior numbers were absurd. What he’s doing this year is crazy. Very well could be a one and done.
  12. Go check out his numbers in the AJ
  13. He’s 4th in the AJ in points per game at his position. Big boy. If it’s more of a depth add not terrible I wouldn’t think. He’ll be old too.
  14. At first glance definitely a depth add, I’ve never heard of him. Poor numbers his first two junior years, definitely producing this year albeit not a top notch league and he’d be one of the older players in the league. Could be a late bloomer given his size? Who knows, time will tell.
  15. Was always a high end offensive dman in his youth years. Was on that high end 04 Blades team. Injury issues have obv plagued him…or he hit a ceiling (like most do at some point). Panzer in a similar position.
  16. Bubs and Team are going to have some pretty tough decisions. Some local boys struggling in juniors. Good thing is they’ll have another year in the ushl. The BC might be a good option/change of scenery
  17. I think he needs to get more O to his game. Doesn’t see the ice overly well. The A is a ton faster than college puck
  18. I do too, especially if they haven’t signed NHL deals.
  19. When 17 “forgot” to cover that guy out front I was like oh boy. We get on squirts for that. His weak backhand to clear the zone later in the game was terrible as well. Should have just eaten it on the wall. similar to 25, not sure what the point of leaving would be. I’d spend another year developing.
  20. First step is really slow for college hockey. But he played well. Especially early.
  21. He has no business unless he’s already graduated. He’s not a bad player but pro hockey is not forgiving. I’d stay and develop another year. He’s young, no need to rush things. Unless he doesn’t like the direction the program is going.
