The top team in the land visits the Ralph. Denver @ UND

Agreed. Perron has to start hitting the net though. He’s way too skilled to be this nonexistent. -

Carle is a super recruiter. Gets a couple blue chips each year and back fills with great over agers. Just got Berchild and I’ve heard he’s about to get another MN gem. He’s on a roll…just need some NHL squad to scoop him up sooner rather than later. -

Definitely a tough season so far. Didn’t see this coming. Injuries stink but good teams find a way. DU is obviously good but again, dzone breakdowns hurt us bad. -

I doubt any other team is dealing with injuries like UND this year. Not yet at least. -

Not only Berg but zmolek. No team can withstand all those losses. Tough sledding from here on out. -

Well…I suppose we have an excuse now. I haven’t seen injury issues like this before…all at once, right away. -

Cross our fingers for a split…could be a tough weekend. -
I don’t think any of the commited dub players have been anything close to high end. The best player I’ve seen commit is Blake Montgomery and he just left Lincoln for London. Bubs is going to make a splash here soon and it will def be from the CHL leagues.

We’ll sneak out the first game and drop a tough game 2 -
Whoa AIC going D2 (not sure what this exactly is) after the season…citing budgetary reasons.

Odd, very confusing

I just learned that Canadians aren’t eligible for NIL $. That makes no sense to me. There are Canadians playing basketball….im guessing football too. None are getting NIL $?

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

It’s easy to say that, but tough to implement. Reason being is you need to take a guy that doesn’t overly care about playing time. -
Had 40 goals last year…over a pt/gm this year. Someone small…didn’t get drafted because he’s a later rd guy and there’s more risk for nhl drafting CHL players in the later rds (2 yr vs 4 yr limits).

Now that the ruling has passed. Hopefully Bubs and Co is targeting Oliver Tulk.

Agreed. One, if not multiple, D is hurt long term im assuming. I would assume they are already planning to bring in Laurila. -
I don’t think McInnis was ever going to make it on campus…unless he wanted to play 1-2 more years of juniors. Committing is one thing, but making it on campus is a whole other deal.

It’s early…but in looking at our schedule, we may be in a bit of trouble to make the tourney -
Noah Davidson to BC…big get

This 100%. The issue is he can’t win draws. He’s like the opposite of Berg. Omac does well when he can possess the puck and has the ability to go where he wants…he’s a great skater/passes too. Berg isn’t the greatest skater from what I’ve seen and he’s a shoot first player. He’s the definition of a wing…but he wins draws and Omac doesn’t.
