Add wood and someone like Pohlkamp and that would be a top 1-2…3 team in the country. MN is always heavy…but if Wood is making a hockey only choice and Blake stays, that’s an absolute no brainer. McMahon reporting MN is heavy favorite.

Well I guess we are in the mix…along with Wisco and MN Again, I’m guessing it would hinge on if Blake is coming back.

I’d take an extremely long look at Carter Wilkie. Unless they have a better plan.

Littler is aging out

Blake is a really good skater. Not necessarily a long power strider, but fairly quick and can play with super pace. He’s also ridiculously edgy. Kawaguchi was flat out slow.

They need to get rizzo back. on a side note…Carle’s accolades are nuts considering he’s been coaching for 6 years.

Kudos to DU…I thought they had an easier route. But they got pushed to the brink.

He’s way better (and has a way higher ceiling) than the two players you mentioned. He’s the definition of a late bloomer. He’s grown quite a bit in the two years he’s been at UND. Pretty sure he’s listed at 5’11” now. When he was drafted he was like 5’7” 120. His O is so much better than many of the college players. He definitely has to play better D however. He’s a significantly better skater than Kawaguchi. What Blake is missing is a trigger man (hopefully that doesn’t bring up the getter setter whatever posters ). But in all honesty…Blake needs an elite shooter with him. He’s going to be an elite robin as opposed to a Batman.

The portal F and D have to be studs…a top 6 F and top 4 D. Otherwise might as well trust our own development. Get a high end tendy to compete with Hobie. Play both as well, we’ll be good again. Im just hoping Blake stays. My hunch is he signs though

Me too. Omac will be fine. I really liked his progression from yr 1 to yr 2. He’s a stud.

Kind of hopeful you’re right. I recently heard he’s coming in from a Twitter journalist, but that was the first time. I get worried when we bring in skilled players right away (that aren’t first rounders) as I worry they get in berrys doghouse too early and bolt.

I’ve liked Kunz the past 5-6 weeks. He is not the issue. I just looked, too three ushl point leaders…Swanson coming here obv, the other two are going to Mich and that isn’t including NTDP.

We have role players…albrecht, jammer, Johannes, Kunz, strinden, etc. I honestly don’t think that’s the issue.
