Tough metrics to look at. Yesterday’s game was tough and that was a 50/50 game to begin with. But I wasn’t overly shocked when the puck dropped, we had them. In one and done games, sometimes those games happen. But…those games seem to never go in our favor anymore. Since the natty, we’ve most likely been the lowest blue blood program out there. Other blue bloods have had the volatility as well (missed NCAAs, etc) but they’ve had far more success than us in the NCAAs. We seem to be good enough to slug out regular reason games…but flame out by the end of the season. It’s all cyclical I suppose, hopefully they start getting lucky.

We’re a good program…but this is def not the same program that Hak left. Tough pill to swallow. Love this program…but it’s been tough sledding. T up the Twitter posting about Penrose wins, crazy forum posters, etc. Programs are judged by NCAA tourney performance and/or NHL players produced.

What’s crazy is I barely noticed Mcgorty brindly etc. Nazar popped in that one but didn’t notice him too much either. We just took another heartbreaking loss. Back to the drawing board.

Love Bubs…but it’s probably fair to get the hot seat heated for next year. Boy I thought this might be the year they won a couple games. They weren’t beating a team like BC. But a FF trip would have been nice for recruiting etc

Agreed, Blake is the best F and it’s not close. Not his best game whatsoever, but he’s super good. He’ll get a few games in for the canes this season for sure.
