You said it right, the dump and chase is a proven winning system....however it is a system where you actually have to go real hard to make it work. Besides 2-3 players on this team, there are no other players that actually move their feet. Last night they had the effort of a men's league team. This season is fading pretty fast. Also, I want to see gothberg and mark needs to play (unless he physically can't walk).

What was their face off %? I have never seen more lost face offs in any game, at any level, in my life.

I believe there may have been a little booing but not sure.

A lot of you guys are focusing on how we run our pp, I though out overall effort and our pk was so much worse.

I don't just look at goals and assists when looking at some of our recruits. I look at everything I can. Also, I never once said I'm pissed they're recruits I simply brought up their numbers are sub par. Which they are, I have never witnessed voltin, Rowe or Wilkie play....I have watched Bergeron play....at a very high level. Sorry for the rambling I'm typing from my phone. Also, I'm not the guy to drop lines unless it's true. Let's get that straight. You seem like a good guy, ha.

I would take PB over both sedins (unless I could take them in a package), he's much better than kopitar, I would take him over kessel (easy), maybe Getz and maybe Tavares. Him and toews are equal to me. Toews plays with better linemates. But PB is more used as a shut down player, that also puts in big goals( check out his plus minus over the past few years). Look at his playoff numbers. Guys great, not Crosby, Malkin or stamkos good though. Also, I hate the bruins I simply respect the type if player Bergeron is.

Go look at his junior numbers. Also his offensive numbers in the nhl are great just not elite. His face off % , plus minus, block shots and headsy play get him to top ten. Now go look at those stats for the recruits I was speaking about, they are absolutely garbage. Nice try bud.

PB is a top ten overall player take it to the bank. Don't simply look at his offensive numbers.

I lived in GF I remember some rumors about how blais truly wanted Johnson to take the reins but somehow something fell through the cracks.

I would like these teams simply to play well before Christmas. I would also like them to work hard before Christmas. Neither has happened over the past 2-3 years. As many coaches say, "they are going through the motions" and it is very obviously. Many people on here were super happy they ripped off 59 shots last Saturday, I was more concerned with the fact they still could not score while also letting up a 3rd period lead to lose and tie to a team that is unranked. There is something a tad different with this team than in years past. Hopefully it is simply the injury bug.

Also very true. I am having a hard time figuring him out. When I watch him he appears to be the best player on the ice most of the time, or at least the hardest working/skilled player on the ice. One thing I have been saying about him for quite some time is that he takes some pretty risky chances (the exact reason he was sat at the WJCs). Also, at first glance his shot appears good but I am starting to doubt that or else he would have more goals by now through two seasons (yes, we have a relatively large sample size). I think he should switch his style of play to become more of a disher. Use that uber burst to create space and move the puck to the soft spots rather than going to the hole. With how he handles the puck in the O-zone he could have 2 assists per game. Maybe put O'Donnell on his line. I don't know, just my thoughts from watching him the past two years.

Completely agree with this statement, please people do not compare Rocco to Brock Nelson. He is like one year older and plays on a line with John Taveras.
