I agree with a lot of what you said. I too thought Bryn looked ok up on top. Rodwell looked lost for the most part, I'm guessing because he hasn't played much. I think panz should sit tonight for either Thompson or ausmus however. I would like to see more of them. Saunders looked good last night, I wouldn't put both of the goals on him. One time he was way out of position but the D also were caught standing still. I hope Zane plays tonight. It's early, we need to rotate and keep his confidence high. One last tidbit, both ladue and Johnson are great. I'm excited for them. They are going to be great here. We need the win tonight.

What's funny is they were sitting back lazy until the second goal was scored...now they go hard. Hak has to learn how to motivate a team to play hard the entire game. This Duluth team looks avg at best.

I wouldn't put too much into it. Jumping over the boards and playing effectively are two separate things. I don't think I would question his leadership or toughness. He takes a ton of crap. But some teams have been able to get to him in the playoffs (Flyers, Bruins). However, he still is the best player in the world. He has a gold medal, Cup, etc. Not only does he do it in the regular season but he does it well in all sorts of meaningful games/formats. He's obviously legit and will go down as one of the best players to do it.

Yup, although he struggled withon James Neal's bomb. Now that Neal is back I expect malkin's production to improve. Their PP is absolutely filthy.

Yeah....but they have the best player in the world, hands down, no questions asked. I'm a Blackhawks fans, but there is no other team I would rather watch than the Pens. Super good team. If they win the Cup this year would not be overly shocked. Hawks v. Pens in the Cup would be awesome.

Because our FCS football program isn't as good as theirs? Palease....doesn't our hockey program alone bring in more money than all their sports combined? I could be wrong on this. Either way...you get outside of this area and nobody knows who NDSU is unless you are die hard college football fan. I travel for work and everyone I meet and chat sports with still thinks UND has this awesome d2 football program and great hockey program. I have to remind them that NDSU has the football program (latest response I got was "yeah whatever same thing")

I see tons of UND signs too, in the Cities that is. Commercials, radio ads, etc. UND advertising is everywhere.

Exactly....we have more draft picks than any other team in the country. We should not have a problem competing against any team in the country. And two of our undrafted players (caggs and stetch) are playing like our best players. We need a sweep against umd this weekend.

I would say I agree with your third type and would fall into that classification. I don't think Hak should be fired, however, he has to change something because his teams have been lacking motivation (obvious) for at least two years now. We'll see what happens I guess.

There was 0 sense of urgency last night...hak's team don't get that until Christmas. Totally sick of it but no way we get rid of Hak.

I am also scratching my head at the line combos last night. It appears Hak was going after a more balanced approach. I'm curious why he would do that given our struggles to score. I would think, for confidence reasons, he would put our top 6 actually into our top 6. Rocco- Johnson - parks Caggs- markmac- chyzk, or someone to plug here. I'll I'm saying is load up the top 6. Super confused as to why he was rolling 4 last night. Tonight I want to see our top players log huge minutes.

It's starting to appear that we blanked on certain recruits for a number of years. Our Juniors, I was expecting, were to be so much better.
