Our D core last night looked about as good as a college d core can look. Schmaltz is awesome, ladue may be our best all around defensman and I'm not even exaggerating here. His two way game is so fun to watch. For this team it all starts with them. I also like the balance in our lines, I'm not overly sold on pattyn playing with Luke and Rocco however we are winning so I'll drop it for a bit. We can't let off the gas, we need to play well and close tonight.

No matter which I thread i go to I see these types of comments everywhere...really nothing else but these. Settle down enjoy the moment there's still a lot of work to do without you going out and jinxing us.

St Thomas is AA....and breck lost last night I believe.

And the gophers are a first half team. They tend to get a lot calls their way early in the season and eat up those power plays, as the year goes on the the refs start swallowing their whistles they tend to take their own second half slumber....only to crash and burn in the NCAA's (or before). Haha...I don't recall however I never realized how good he was. Hendo was the better college player I believe but when you take hitting out of the game Notermann is awesome. Super crafty.

I actually skated with him and Notreman about a month and a half ago....couldn't even get the nerve to ask him. I didn't even know it was them until another guy noted who they were (because he knew I was a big UND fan). The stick has been sitting in my dad's garage in GF for awhile now. I need to get that done though.

I have seen John Peterson (Holy Family) play, he's really good. I would like to see what he does against better competition (USHL).

No doubt. I don't think that is the worst idea.....they aren't winning this year although I do like some of their players.
