At this point in the season every team knows how to win. Also, with this one and done format crazy things happen. It's hockey, if we don't show up at puck drop we'll lose. Sioux and gopher fans know more than any other teams what can happen if you don't show up for a game in this tourney.

For some odd reason I don't remember that game....just found out Kunitz played college hockey earlier this year.

Haha me too, 4-0! This has been my best bracket start in recent memory. I do have Denver beating BC though so I'm sure today may bring me down slightly, hopefully not the Sioux vs ferris game

It was PB (see my earlier posts on the benefits of playing with him) #top5 I actually had to look that up. I was a tad harsh on BM, I just hate the guy because he is a trash talker, he turtles and I do not like the Bruins (from a team standpoint). I love the way PB plays though.

Unfornately that is not super uncommon. I was at the pour house but never go downtown bars otherwise. There are places close by that you just don't want to be close to.

Agreed those write ups were pretty old, pretty much the opposite (excluding mantha) actually occurred as far as the years each of those players actually had. Gersich was not that bad but I thought he had higher offensive talent given the team he played on....that team scores like 5 goals per game. With another year of juniors I think poganski and Wilkie will be nice. I actually witnessed a game where schmaltz was loafing big time, however the offensive talent is very apparent. He needs a ton of work in his own zone though.

I think he is ready for the next level to be honest, I'm guessing he'll finish this year off in the A and play there next year too. The AHL is a great league and he showed to be a very good player in the college ranks. I thought he looked good from what I saw. CC won't be a national contender next year and there is no way the kid was going to stay his junior year.

He did not look good against OSU.... however everyone has a bad game every once in awhile. On the Fitch goal he was so out of position.

Agreed...Zengerle (sp?) is good too. Mersch (sp?) looks super slow, however he looks as thick as a lineman. Wisconsin's regular season was not that impressive outside the MN sweep. They barely beat OSU and that team was so bad in their own zone (luckily their goalie was solid). If we don't take dumb penalties and we work hard the whole game we'll get lucky. The Badger's goalie did not impress me against OSU.

I thought he looked fine on Saturday....that icing at the end of Friday's game was not smart but overall I didn't think he played that bad. On Friday, the team in general looked sluggish and unlucky.

I'm glad we drew this bracket.....4 game run!
