Wow.....now it's coming together.

Greetings from The UAE, brought my Sioux jersey with!

Wow. Settle down. I would be absolutely blown away if people didn't know where Dubai was located. THANKS FOR THE INFO! -
....they're pretty deep and well constructed.
-
What....are you kidding me? The officiating has been fine. Your post sounds like one fat excuse to me. LA has been playing terrible and they're still up 2-0. If the hawks couldn't hold leads that rangers definitely won't be able to.
-
Wow the rangers are pulling all the tricks now....talk about embellishment
-
Given the injuries that plagued that team and the way Babcock got them to play without some of their best players.....not a chance. Best coach in the league in my opinion.
-
Nice, I could have done without that one today

As Bad As Not Winning the World Juniors?
scpa0305 replied to werewolfoflondon's topic in Non-collegiate sports
Well this is hockey....not the NBA. Anything less than 6 is a blow out. -
Ding ding ding.

"I am disappointed that the rules committee didn’t recommend video review for major penalties or recommend allowing players to wear the three-quarter face shield." I'm right there with ya Goon.

There were definitely streaks of time where he was a solid player last year but there were also streaks where he had some pretty poor numbers. The jump from the USHL to the nchc will be tough. But sitting on a third line may benefit him. I just hope he doesn't get scratched all season long when he could be developing his top six potential in tri city. I am not opposed to bringing him in and I have no idea who else they would bring in.
-
That would be a shocker. He was one I though needed another year of juniors. Nice size though.
-
Agreed. I was pretty crushed when the Hawks were bounced, however, I'm over it now and am jumping on the King's bandwagon. Greener needs another Cup. I heard he is looking at getting into coaching when he retires from the League. I wonder if he will be our future coach one day? As for the game last night, what a colossal f up by Girardi on that last goal. I haven't seen a solid NHL defensemen panic like that in awhile. He's typically a sound defender. Cost his team last night. You don't let Mr. Clutch get a clean look in OT.

I wonder why Mantha just doesn't come out and say he's heading to the O rather than college. Everyone knows that's what is going to happen. Why this wait?
-
In English please
-
Agreed, I think he's getting a spot next year.
-
Every team brings up half their minor league team.
-
Definitely I think McD could win a Norris. Not yet though and Keith is going to have two after this year's season. The Rangers do have a good defensive core, I never said they didn't.
-
These kids are looking for a bunch of PT now....not in two years. He'll get that in the ohl as he'll be older. But you're right, if he's good enough to play pro (in a few years, as he'll age out of the o) he should be able to fight his way through our D lineup...one would think.
-
I agree.
-
I wasn't pleased with Leddy but he is an alright prospect. Also, CHI has a Norris winner who will win another one. Seabrook who is very very good and one of the best defensive defensive pairings is the league in NJ and Oduya. That's stacked.
-
We'll have to agree to disagree. I have watched them all playoffs long. McDonaugh is awesome, but Keith covers him. I think seabrook is as good as McDonaugh. I think Hjallmersson is better than the rest of them. By no means is that a knock in the Rangers.
-
McDonaugh is a stud, but you honestly think the rangers d core stacks up (top to bottom) with CHI? I, for one, don't think it's close. But they are good, I never said they weren't .
-
It's hockey, the Rangers definitely have a shot.....a very small one though . Kopitar's line will shut down the St. Louis line easy. The Ranger's D core also isn't anywhere near CHI's. It will be tough for the Rangers but they do have a shot.

I completely agree with you on the Seth Jones comment. I also appreciated how he handled the situation. The difference is probably that Seth Jones was a lotto pick where every team in US and Canada will hold their breath for him. I don't think UND would hold their breath for Mantha. Had he not committed last year....they simply would have found some other kid. Mantha doesn't have that kind of pull.
