  1. Agreed, I probably shouldn't have even brought it up because it was such a big win for the boys however he did fumble it a few times. I believe he ended up staying with the puck but still looked shaky doing it. Re-watch the game, he did. My bro and I were right there and were gasping a few times he held the puck, once he attempted to sauce it to JS and almost gave SCSU the puck on the door step. But, no one should be making a big deal out of it because he hadn't played in such a long time and scored a big one for us. My initial response was soley due to the fact I wanted to see Thompson back out there.
  2. What?!?! Haha, ok I get it now. I like the fact Panz can play when called upon but that guy was feeling the nervs I bet. His hands were definitely shaky in the D zone. On a side note, Murph played pretty well but that line was not overly noticeable. I thought the St clair line was pesty the entire weekend. Boys should be pumped for the F4.
  3. And it made me pretty nervous. yes Panz scored a goal but he also fumbled the puck in the slot about three different times. We need Thompson back bad.
  4. More with less? Blais has a dang good team and pulled some really nice recruits in the past few years. After last season I noted that Blais would have a scary team this year and some posters noted I was nuts for thinking that after they lost Archibald. Guy is simply a very good coach however I think our squad is better. We can't look past BU though, that will be a tilt.
  5. Guy needs to retire. He's reaching.
  6. Wow.
  7. Bunch of the boys were sick yesterday too.
  8. Denvers tendy is going to want that back.
  9. I think your overthinking this one
  10. I think hak was doing it on purpose. His body language was about as bad as any player I've seen in a long time. At one point NS turned to the bench and visibly mouthed "why" when being taken off the ice on the PP. Constantly rolling his eyes. My bro and I were both blown away by how he was acting. No other player was doing anything close. Last night was the closest I've ever sat at a Sioux game....I could see eye lashes.
  11. Ns was whining quite a bit tonight.
  12. Agree on the side of pattyn however murph looked good last week. Very small sample size I agree. I get the concern though. Schmaltz has to play with pure finishers. It will be on hak if they look terrible; I'm pulling for murph though.
  13. No way BC gets past Denver.
  14. I have a feeling they try to play him. Or they are trying to get him ready for Saturday if they win.
  15. Anas out there?
  16. Huh? I'm in minny.
  17. Why wouldn't the Sioux fans in Minny make it? Sioux falls isn't far away...isn't it close to the TC than GF?
  18. How does the pt system work (per round)?
  19. Tech 53%? How many brackets did you fill out Mafia?
  20. If he can't improve his foot speed you're probably right. However, his shot is NHL ready. I don't think he has anything else to prove at the college level, he's ready to see if he'll have a career in hockey.
  21. ...and not overly smart. This isn't a video game, Mattson is 100% a D, not a F. The offense he provides is from the point, I can almost guarentee he would be useless up front, he's a little too timid. He needs time and space to operate. In the offensive zone, the offense is designed to play on the walls and in the corners. I don't think mattson would have the grit to play there.
  22. WTF? Mattson at F? Also, your last two sentences are contradicting.
  23. I honestly think that is what he will do however what would be a "loaded two lines"?
  24. Interesting. I was wondering if Murph would get another look.
  25. You're probably right, but he was noticeable out there and he looked like a top 6 forward to me. He was very good in juniors so if he has found his confidence somehow I would be in favor of rolling him out there. It could not only pay dividends this year but also the next two years.
