A top NCAA > CHL > USHL > BCHL (obviously in a matchup together not related to developmental reasons b/c obviously the CHL leagues are the top developmental leagues in total). A top notch BCHL team, most likely, would be an above average team in the USHL (this year's Penticton team probably higher up on that scale). The best USHL team would complete in a WHL/OHL schedule, probably middle of the pack, and would be a good Q team. A great CHL team would be a solid NCAA team (this year's London team would probably be higher up on that scale).

the NTDP would easily compete in all chl leagues. They walk through their ushl schedule. Your post makes it sound as though they are just another ushl team. I'm not a chl hater like many others on this site but I do understand how stacked this years NTDP was (and has been for the past few years).

you're right they are deeper than I had originally thought however the NTDP definitely could beat them. I would guess it would be 50/50.

Haha, just a guess bud. I actually had Gersich or Wilkie plugged in there first. But JJ was the smartest of the three and worked super hard. JJ could pass. We'll see. With Schmaltz and Boeser (obviously) together, whoever is playing with them should succeed as long as they can work hard and keep up. If Jost goes top ten he's playing center.

Agree 100%. Another interesting one (not a soph however) is Pogo. There were time last year he really stuck out. Something many people forget is that these guys are young and (most) will continue to develop and get better year over year.

I'm guessing they may very well go with a loaded top line. But Jost is 100% a center and may go in the top 8 in this year's draft. Similar to Toews, you don't have high first round center play wing unless they struggle at the position first. Also, Schmaltz has to play center now too, he's continually getting better at the position and he'll have one year left before the NHL. He needs to fine tune is faceoff skills before he jumps.

I guess. I could see Bowen playing that band-aide roll in practice. Play where they need him. I would think it will be tough for him to crack the line up barring injuries.
