  1. Any of you guys actually from GF?
  2. Looks like he is struggling mightily in the NAHL playoffs.
  3. Are you the one who submitted that name 20 times ?
  4. Haha noticed that. They also needed a filter on some of the comments to right.
  5. http://www.sbncollegehockey.com/college-hockey-recruiting-ncaa/2015/5/4/8542995/caleb-jones-auston-matthews-dylan-larkin-matthew-tkachuk-dante-fabbro-update-chl-ncaa
  6. Well if true, it was with seabrook . His skating isn't where it needs to be right now.
  7. I think they put him with Seabrook in the third. He not playing great but he also hasn't played a ton of hockey this year. At his age it must be hard sitting for that long. He's such a smart player, he'll bounce back. I'm glad they have him. I would argue the vermette trade was worse. However, if they can get lucky and win the cup than its all worth it.
  8. He's not awful, although he's playing awful right now. There is a difference.
  9. Speed? The wild had enough of that last night, believe me. The wild squad is a complete grinder team, and that is their only strength. They come at you in waves. Obviously the Hawks skill is far superior than the wild but the Hawks have been known to be soft at times. Dubby gave up the one softy however he got bailed out more than a few times. Crawford continues to scare me. That continues to be their achilles heel. When the Hawks buckle down like they did in the third there is no way the wild can beat them. But when they get sloppy grinding teams can grind out wins.
  10. If he's available? Sure. Why wouldn't they? His guaranteed salary will be almost nothing being a second rounder. For the value, that wouldn't be a bad move.
  11. Yeah...this guy is a full blown mess.
  12. As a prospect....absolutely.
  13. When does the Spring semester officially end?
  14. Matthews with a goal for the US mens team at the Worlds. He has to be the youngest guy in the tourney I'm guessing. This kid has a bright future. I don't remember anyone playing for their world team (any country) one full year before their draft year.
  15. July? We're going to hear well before that. Right when school is out we'll hear. First or second week in May.
  16. I watched Matthews this morning, unreal how good he actually is. I think he may end up being better than eichel. Has the same hands but plays at a higher speed. I'm shocked at how agile he is already given his size. He was a man amongst boys again Canada today. Tearing up the u18s.
  17. I would be shocked if he wasn't going to junior as everyone is saying he hadn't caught up on the academic requirements to make that happen. He's also not coming here. He's probably waiting to chit chat with eichel.
  18. Exactly. It worked out this year but an interesting oppurtunity presented itself.
  19. Oh yeah, good point. Just like tyler vessel last year. Regarding your "stat sheet" comment, I definitely realize that however maybe that's why we haven't had a forward average a point per game in 4 years . In all seriousness I'm fine with this as he's a depth guy an Hak must like him for a reason. Just curious that's all.
  20. I'm still curious why they didn't go with a kid from either the Ushl or the Bch, because there appears to be some decent kids still uncommitted.
  21. He's 20 right now. He's about to age out of juniors.
  22. Agreed I liked gaarders role, I was just saying he got his opportunity to get in the lineup earlier than most NA kids. By practice squad I wasn't trying to knock him I just think it is such a tough jump from the NA to nchc hockey that first year. Your right though, it's nice to have hard working over agers play a bottom six role. I definitely think these kids are valuable in the junior senior years if they develope.
  23. Maybe, but remember gaarder was literally a last second replacement and only initially got in due to the mounting injuries that year; he obviously made the most out of his opportunities. Mario came from the ushl and also had family ties. You're right about Pattyn.
