Interesting....is Fargo that big of a mess? The BCHL is a good league but definitely not as deep as the USHL. With a new coach coming to Fargo I would have thought they may stick around.

Sure. I have heard that Poolman is playing D this year. But to your point, things happen. I just wonder if either player would decommit if the playing time isn't there. I couldn't imagine sitting on the bench all year given how good these guys are. Not every player has the armor of Ausmus or Thompson

Potentially, although I would be absolutely blown away. One thing some friends and I were talking about is the fact he could play out his senior year, become a FA, and potentially sign with the Hawks. His bro may end up there and they desperately need some help on the back end of their D rotation. If, by chance, both Ladue and Schmaltz come back (which will never happen, but let's just say that it does), what happens with Wolanin and Shaw? Those two boys are ready to play college hockey next year.

To be honest the kids ready, everyone knows that. To keep developing he needs to take that next step. I don't think anyone in the know is truly shocked, we have a potential blue chipper coming in, we're going to be just fine.

Lacrosse is a great sport and is growing in popularity every year. It's huge with the youngsters here in the Cities. It would be very smart for Und to pursue a sport like that.

I don't necessarily think it's that low. He obviously doesn't want to play in the CHL and wants to play against older competition. He would have nothing to prove at the CHL level. I'm guessing he ends up going to the Swiss league and unbiasedly think that's a decent idea. Biasedly I would really like for him to play a year of college hockey.

I have heard the same. But Fargo also drafted Rhett Gardner so one has to wonder why they would draft them. I would bet that Fargo believes there is a small chance that Tomek would play for them next year if Zane stays. Believe me, these teams have closer contacts than many on this forum.
