I am fine with all remaining names other than sun dogs however MN has chose not to use north stars for any of there sports teams. When they added the Wild a while back they chose not to go back to the NS. If it was so important why haven't they went back to that name? It is a superior nam, you're right. I don't think we disqualify it simply because a state has it as their motto. Other teams use rough riders even though it is supposedly ours. I'm just playing devils advocate a bit here.

So odd, I was with a gf guy last weekend who thought nodaks would be a front runner. Pretty connected, im guessing he knows a committee member. I was shocked I never thought that would go too far.

Ice, blizzard, clippers, sugar kings, harvesters, Mulies (or something related to deer or mule deer). I can't believe some of the names we're left with. I know the nicknames I just referenced aren't that good but it took me 30 seconds to think of.
