  1. Let me add clarification to my op, by big minutes I meant 1-2.
  2. There was a time in penticton this year where he was on the second PP.
  3. I'm not a player....I'm a fan. The nickname is important to me. You missed the point.
  4. New Yorkers should be proud
  5. No I really don't, the only thing that matters is winning. Get good coaches who can recruit good players. Then they'll start winning. Kids don't come to the school because of a nickname.
  6. Exactly, they may want some time on their own too. Now if jost happens to choose UND and UND ends up losing the dmen we think they're going to lose after next season, I could see fabbro taking a strong liking to the situation he would find himself in here. Big minutes.
  7. The accusation had been out for a long time, was he just found guilty or brought to court?
  8. We also have to remember these kids are freshman, guys like simo and t Olson put up very similar numbers to Wilkie and gersich in the ushl and they barely cut our squad last year. In saying that, we won't have to worry about boeser. I just think we need to be easy on our expectations for Wilkie and gersich.
  9. Sounds as though he's currently visiting schools.
  10. If we switch to rough riders and five years from now the NCAA allows us to use our old name do we go back?
  11. Bored at work. Caggs - Schmaltz - Murphy pogs - LJ - Boeser gersich - Simo- Chyz Wilkie - St. Clair - T. Olson Thompson - Ladue Stetch - Ausmus Poolman - Shaw Tomek - I may be missing a forward. I could see that Finnish kid working his way into the lineup. Also, I could also see Shaw and Wolanin rotating until there is a clear winner. Same goes for Tomek and Johnson however Tomek should win that one with ease. PP1 Caggs - Schmaltz- Boeser Thompson- Ladue PP2 Wilkie-LJ-Gersich Stetch- Poolman
  12. You've said this far too much.
  13. Wait a minute....I'm having deja vu
  14. Jost between us and Denver. Hopefully he'll make the right decision
  15. I apologize, I didn't mean to be mock you. Your post is simply going to stir up comments for the anti-North Stars crowd (the same comments which have been posted hundreds of times over the last month by the same posters). Again I didn't mean it directly at you. I typically type from my phone so sometimes I don't think long enough before I post I do agree, some MN fans (mostly from the TC) would use that nickname and mock us....but if it wasn't that it would always be something else.
  16. Here we go, let'm fly. Same people same comments.
  17. This journalist had me until the final three, especially #1
  18. Ha, ok. Nope not me, I am fully aware the old nickname is gone and I will never stop cheering for UND. I simply am not a fan of the rough rider nickname...but will jump on the bandwagon if and when it is selected.
  19. I hope you're not lumping me in that group who thinks the nickname will come back or that I'll quit cheering for UND? By reposting things sometimes others assume things. I simply am not found of using the Roughriders nickname.
  20. Agreed, there is that redundancy, but it doesn't sound that bad.
  21. It seems the MN alumni/current students are the largest backers
  22. Good point. Also, I agree with you 100% on your second paragraph. I personally think the North Stars name has a better ring to it, that's why I like it. Also, I don't think anyone outside of Twin City folks will even care....and we don't play them in many sports anymore. Give it 5 years and it would be a thing of the past. Even the smaller MN schools we do compete against, they all would have had the same chance to choose North Stars as a nickname.
