Couldn't disagree more. I'm enjoying it more than I even thought I would. We belong with Big Ten schools a hell of a lot more than we do the likes of Neb Omaha, Alaska frickin Anchorage, etc.
-
Ok now I have to ask. Are you on crack?
-
? You think there will only be 5K Gopher fans?
-
I agree and so does Lucia. I'm not sure when but they have decided to renovate and make it closer to NHL size. I believe it will be 200 x 90 or so.
-
Get a clue.
-
No Minnesota rule this weekend, Lucia insisted on that. If the Gophs lose they will play Saturday afternoon.
-
All he said was he's hoping it "could grow" to be as exciting as the Final Five, not that it is right now. And who knows how people will feel about this tourney ten years from now, it could be huge by then.
-
The sightlines in the lower deck of the Ralph aren't nearly as good as Mariucci, not even close. The upper deck is a bit more steep though. I love the Ralph, it's a great arena and I'm not complaining about it. Mariucci just has the best sightlines I've ever seen in an arena.
-
Have you ever been to an arena with better sightlines than Mariucci?
-
That could set up a possible match up against the Gophers in St Paul assuming the Gophers hold onto one of the top seeds. Not a conference foe anymore so we can play in the first round.
-
The Big Ten tourney is rotating between St Paul and Detroit.

Going to mid level bowl games is much more prestigious than winning the FCS and its not close. Also, mid level bowl games are just scratching the surface of what the Gophers could do under Kill. NDSU has already reached their ceiling, its gotten as good as it gets and its still meaningless college football that people dont watch. Have fun Bison fans.
-
You just made my point. The gophers bowl game which I agree is not an elite bowl was on EPSN while your National title game was on ESPN2. Even the biggest game for your level of football isn't as popular as lower tier bowl games.
-
Dude you're FCS. No one cares and no one watches. That's the truth whether you accept it or not.
-
Worse than NDSU. I hate the UND. But you both play meaningless college football.
-
Nope. NDSU beat literally two of the worst teams in the history of gopher football and they actually take pride in those wins. Think about that. Beating two of the worst teams in Gopher football history is one of NDSU's biggest accomplishments. The last year of Mason and the first year of Brewster.
-
With ease. Youre a delusional Bison fan who actually thinks FCS football means anything. Youre the best of the worst. Congrats.
-
You're wrong. The Gophers dominated and beat Nebraska. Gophers would have beaten NDSU handily this year.
-
Drinking restrictions. Some people have had numerous DUI's and they're legally not allowed to consume alcohol.
-
I'm assuming they card everyone so they can look at the back and see if they're are any restrictions. My mom is over 60 and got carded at TGI Fridays but the server immediatley looked at the back of the card and clearly wasn't checking the age.
-
That would never have happened as Minnesota was the one school in the WCHA that was against the "Minnesota Rule." Not to mention that rule was put in place for TV ratings, not attendance. In a typical tournament setting(neutral ice) you would be correct. But these are simply home games for the Gophers with the times already decided. It's OUR home schedule. Of course we should get the 7pm time slot.
-
You're priceless Goon. And by priceless I mean really really dumb.
-
I never said I believed that. Just saying we don't know what or if something was said.
-
It's a fact that Finley attacked Wheeler. It's not even close to a fact that Wheeler said a word to provoke it.
-
Even if Wheeler did talk trash it still does NOT excuse Finley's actions. Finley could just talk trash back to him. Hey Goon do you know what happens at EVERY single hockey game ever? Trash talking between the two teams. You know what almost NEVER happens at hockey games unless UND is involved? Attacking a player as he extends his hand in a show of sportsmanship. This is where UND fans lose the argument. Trash talking, which is common and the norm, does not excuse starting brawls during the handshake.
