There's nothing surprising about this game to anyone who watched last weekend. Miami is more talented than UND. The Wioux just can't score.

From an outsiders perspective Im very surprised he hasn't put up more points. Last year at Mariucci he may have been the best player on the ice for both teams all weekend, he impressed me a lot. His hands are sick.

You said a flaw of the pairwise is that Michigan gets credit for games before thanksgiving. So yes its bizarre to think regular season games shouldn't count, I dont care when they're played. The PWR starts day one.

Wow do you underrate UW. They are much better than UND. They have better forwards than anyone on UND like Kerdiles, Mersch, Barnes, Zengerle. And they have a better goalie as well. They beat the Gophers twice. Like I said UW would have had won the NCHC hands down.

Miami yes. But CC? Much better than Penn State? No way. They are separated by ONE SPOT in the PWR, 51 and 52. There's a reason for that. I watched Penn State all year. I watched them play Minnesota tough in 3 of the 4 meetings. They are not half as bad as you guys think.

What the hell is this? Bottom line is that UND fans HEAVILY underrate the Big Ten and overrate teams like Western and CC. UW would have walked away with the NCHC title this year.

But UND lost at home to CC who is a whole one spot ahead of Penn State in the PWR. Does UND's credibility go out the window?

How is Michigan mediocre? They're ahead of UND in the pairwise and they're our third best team while UND was one win away from winning the conference. There are two teams in the Big Ten, UW and Minnesota, who are a big step above any team in the NCHC and that's why it's better.

I was going to correct him on that as well. Tied Friday and won Saturday. I was at the Friday game and can't remember who won the shootout. Your post indicates the Gophers did so I'll go with that.

It's the end of the season, strength of schedule isn't an opinion at this point its fact. According to the computers the Gophers have played the toughest schedule in the nation. Not sure why you continue to perpetuate this myth that it's "squishy."

This post is so wrong. The NCHC hasn't yet even come close to becoming the conference you fans thought it would. The NCHC has depth but not the Big Ten you say? CC's pairwise is one spot ahead of Penn State FYI. EVERY Big Ten school has a SOS that's top 15 in the country while the NCHC has 2. Don't even try to compare which is the better conference because right now it'e not even close. I think Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan are all better teams than SCSU your league champ.
