I wore a hawks shirt to the last game, but honestly, there hasn't been a strong unison cheer since the throws of Let's Go Sioux against the goofs in 2011 (at home, I'm not counting Scheel's arena). It's noticeable to me. When the whole arena had that going, it had some force and pop to it. Legitimately intimidating stuff. We haven't had that since some people stopped chanting Let's Go Sioux. Maybe we'll have to steal the Vikings new chant to regain some of that, haha.

Yeah, when we were in victory formation, I made the call to bolt out of there. Driving that thing out of the parking lot w/thousands of other people is a true treat. I have a feeling it's gonna get left there overnight this weekend.

I'm quite surprised of how much of tough guy journalists some people have become post Kelley, at least early on. The negativity on Bob came on pretty darn late, in my opinion. As for scrapping the committee, I don't think you can, especially after how changing the process halfway through has gone in the past year or so here at UND. I like the out that Kennedy can do his own thing, and just use the committee as a take it or leave it sounding board/brainstorming deal, even if it is stupid.

Tank was awesome. Brady was great, especially the probably unnecessary bulldozing of their D Lineman. Big Sky refs were trash, per usual. After all the flack they get, I'd say the student section was pretty cool throughout the game. Kudos to them.

Hear, Hear. The people largely responsible for the debacle are gone. It's booing into an echo chamber. I wish this much passion went into causing false starts.

I haven't analyzed down and distance breakdown of play selection, but I don't think as an offensive unit, we've been able to (yet) establish ourselves as road graters who line it up, yell here it comes, and you can't stop it anyway. To steal from Dan Barrerio, first down passes are NOT against the rules. Again, I missed a game, and would need to go back and look to see if my memory is anything close to accurate on play selection, though.

Do you have any ideas for the slow starts? Not opening up the playbook; lack of urgency, etc.. I didn't get to see the game this week, but I commented that I thought it was a huge issue after the first two weeks. As far as play calling (& again, I missed USD), I've noticed that our better runs seem to come in between the tackles, which to my recollection is a different than the Santiago home runs last year (particularly against MSU). Does Keaton need a few plays to get on target too? The first few drives in the first 2 games have had less accuracy than I've come to expect of him.

Maybe so out of townies, like me, can see the banner raising. I plan on hitting up both. Football at 1 and I'd assume hockey at 7?
