For me it’s not so much the loss but the way we lost. Our d and goaltending was asleep at the wheel, our forwards lack intensity and the passing was not good at all, shooting wide. They were getting beat on all parts of the game. Of course losses are going to happen but the last three games have not been their best performances. I know our power play has never been very good but last night it was exceptionally horrible.

And the inability to do anything with the man advantage. I feel that killed any moment we may have had the last couple minutes. Not a good call.

Let’s hope so.

I am not putting it all on Scheel, he certainly hasn’t been stellar but the D has really played bad too.

Our power play is horrendous. It doesn’t really appear much improvement has been made. Goerhing needs to rethink this one. Perhaps we are doing the reverse Hakstol where we do great in the first half and fizzle in the second.

Wow, this is not a first place effort tonight. Quite honestly a garbage effort all around.

Not a very good start by the D and Scheel. Scheel has looked shaky the last couple weeks.

Polls are nice but ask St. Cloud how well polls work out for you. The boys don’t need to get caught up with the polls and they just need to keep playing and improving. Polls are for us fans to discuss and bloviate.

UND currently sitting at #1 in Pairwise right now.

So this was the mighty Bison football team today. They won but certainly not impressively and albeit at home. I don’t know if they will be able to take down JMU should that chance come. I feel bad for Illinois as they really got hosed on that fumble call.

That is sad news. He was a homer but gosh, it was fun to play against his teams. My condolences to his family and the gopher faithful.

I get the LSSU and Maine but UNH a storied history? They have zero with a 0 national champions. I have been around a while myself and never thought of UNH as storied program. When you think of Storied history, you think UM, UND, Wisconsin, DU, CC UMTC BU, BC not UNH but to each is own. That just kind of surprised me. Didn’t Van Riemsdyke play for UNH?

Well Dr. Armacost is my new boss and I can honestly say I was initially thinking oh great. However after his open forum and being able to talk with him personally, he appears at first blush like a really great pick and super nice guy. He is a very intelligent man and I got the sense he was really excited to be apart of UND. I have a much better feeling about him than I did with the last two presidents.

I watched it too and good luck trying to even see goals scored as the camera is panned way out and far away from the goal area. It reminded me of a high school or junior high production.

And yet DU retains the 4 spot in pair wise. What’s up with that.

Who said he should criticize, I just don’t think you can honestly say build on the success. Tweet your support for the program, the student athletes but don’t tell me Bubba is doing a bang up job. Come on now.

I am a UND hockey guy all the way. I just don’t understand how that can be, that football revenue goes to the REA. It makes no sense, when I first saw that I couldn’t believe it. It makes sense why they don’t have the money to build up the football program. UND hockey and REA can do fine on its own.

Also, what is concerning to me is that tweet that Chaves put out. I understand the financial issues we face and it may not be an option to fire Bubba but don’t tweet that you look forward to building on the success that Bubba has had. Bubba should be on a very short leash, it makes Chaves look foolish supporting this type of mediocrity and makes me question his thought process.

I am sure the boys would like another crack at Mankato. We should have won the first game and possibly could have won the second but I think we are better since that game.

I think it could have gone either way. When Perionvich had the puck he kind of lost it in his skates and it seemed like it wasn’t intentional but I can also see how they called it. Not sure it should have been a 5 and a game.

Snoozefest in Duluth , switching between that and Michigan and Wisconsin.

Mankato 1-0 midway through the 1st period.

Lost power in Amsoil arena. Game delayed about ten minutes. Played about 3 or 4 minutes then power went out. Place is dead due to weather.
