  1. Really lame that this live stream is behind a paywall. Just infuriates me more to never pay for any digital subscription service from inforum or the herald. Go pound sand.
  2. A GF team will win State! Mark it.
  3. I am curious why you think Red River beats Central? Because they just won the last game in OT? I don't see Red River beating Central unless the Central team from the EDC tournament shows up. They did not play well in that tournament, OT with Red River and OT with Fargo.
  4. Its one game I know but that is a really disappointing loss. To outplay SCSU both games and only come away with one point is really bad.
  5. I have to say that was a pretty bonehead play by Pinto to put us in that situation.
  6. How about last night when, Poehlibg certainly embellished the shoulder to shoulder hit by Caufield and went down the tunnel only to immediately return to the power play.
  7. Not a good period for the good guys. Certainly doesn’t help that we are down two of our best scorers. That DQ was horse$&:t. 5 perhaps but not a DQ.
  8. Wow did Jan Brady U get some lucky bounces in that game. Unreal, they were totally outplayed and had no business getting three goals.
  9. Rule 639 | Tripping/Clipping/Leg Checking/Slew Footing (Note 1) Tripping is the act of placing a stick, knee, foot, arm, hand or elbow in such a manner that causes his opponent to lose balance or fall. (Note 2) Clipping is the act of deliberately leaving the feet or lowering the body for the purpose of making contact with the opponent at or below the knees. (Note 3) Leg check is the act of extending the leg from the front or from behind for the purpose of tripping the opponent. (Note 4) Slew Footing is the act of a player using his leg or foot to knock or kick an opponent's feet from under him. This is done by pushing an opponent's upper body backwards with an arm or elbow at the same time using a forward motion of his leg causing the opponent to fall to the ice. (a) A minor or major penalty shall be assessed under this rule for any of the actions described above. (Note) However, no penalty shall be assessed under this rule if, in the opinion of the Referee, the player was clearly hook-checking or poke-checking the puck for the purpose of gaining possession. (b) A major penalty plus a game misconduct penalty shall be assessed to any player who injures an opponent as a result of tripping, clipping, leg checking or slew footing.
  10. Your right, he took one penalty this whole weekend.
  11. So UMD sweeps DU and UMD moves up in the pairwise but how does DU still stay at 4.
  12. And Anchorage blows it in the final couple minutes and gives up two goals to go into OT with Minn St. Unreal
  13. Duluth is a good team, I thought DU would get at least one win this weekend but hats off to Duluth they got it done.
  14. How so? There were many times he almost put the puck in the back of the net and I don’t recall him taking any penalties all weekend.
  15. UMN 4 UW 2 Wisconsin is not a good team, which is surprising considering the talent they have on their roster.
  16. Wilkie and Halloran absolute non factors this weekend. UND shut those two down big time.
  17. Loveland is not 11,990 ft. Its more like 4900ft.
  18. Loveland is not 11,990 feet above sea level. It is right next to Fort Collins on the Front Range and is about 4,982ft You must be thinking of Estes Park.
  19. UND isn’t hosting a regional this year? I thought it was back to Fargo again.
  20. I did see this and was thinking the same thing. I also noticed they like to clutch, hold, grab a lot and for the life of me I don’t understand how penalties don’t get called. Case in point, I believe it was shortly after the Adams phantom trip in the third and Cole smith had the puck coming into the zone and a Duluth player grabbed him and spun him around and no call.
  21. Yeah they were actually not too bad. I didn’t get the urge to want to mute them. Bruce Cisiki(Sp) is the worst and thankfully we didn’t have to listen to him. The way he rants and raves about UMD, you would think they have won 8 National Championships.
  22. I agree with this. Its one of the main reasons UMD was able to go back to back as they had players that stayed. I do feel the 2017 team, had a few players stayed, we could of made a serious run for back to back as well. As we know they didn’t and the rest is history.
  23. Yes them and Bucci will do their best to make that happen.
  24. I would partially agree with this, however we played a very big and physical Western Michigan and seemed to handle them fine.
