Those $5 pizzas with the easy drive up and go really proved handy for busy families and anyone needing late night munchies.

Now beyond clear that Scheels cannot save Columbia Mall. It will be a multi-use facility soon. Maybe a church, maybe a year-round flea market. Bleak.

    A) Awful B) I believe that U18 attendance data from 2 years ago is actually more predictive of local support than U20 from 13 years ago. The economy, fan interest, changing media habits of sports fans, newness of REA...all of those things vary with time.

    Would be a huge get, BUT I'm still pretty embarrassed by the U18 attendance two years ago. I wouldn't blame any sanctioning body for holding that against GF/REA for a long time.

    It is about time the County puts in one or more street lights overhead to illuminate the intersection of S Washington and S Columbia. The odd angle at which the curves meet coupled with the darkness really have the potential to be dangerous.

    Just saying it doesn't seem to be consistent with typical branding; the "Home of..." tagline is the one commonly used by REA.

    This one is a noble effort but seems confused...UND is (was) the Fighting Sioux. REA is (was) the "Home of the Fighting Sioux." Probably an at-home knock-off.

(I paused the video here for literally no reason, and certainly not to make any kind of statement, or point out any irony, whatsoever, as I have zero doubt that the NCAA is 100% firm in its convictions or would ever embark on a hollow crusade of any nature.)

    Sickies GF is NOT staying open. In fact, they've already closed. EGF opens December 11, per the sign in the window. The Columbia Ave black hole claims yet another victim. A great lunch option for UND and Altru is badly needed.

    That wasn't even remotely my original point, but you're entitled to your opinion. Maybe UND can publish some royalty data and prove us all right/wrong.

    Not sure I follow. Are you suggesting that the current FH logo is difficult to reproduce? Or that consumers are somehow confused?

    In fairness, those "details" were difficult to include in many applications, such as embroidery on hats and other places where size and/or color limitations make every interlocking ND look basically the same. The marketplace matters, and making stuff for people to buy is very important. Whether passionate sports fans can spot the differences is not the critical issue; casual fans and average consumers are where it counts.
