  1. It's not. That person doesn't know what they are talking about. On second thought, I did watch a HS hockey game on it, so technically they answered your question accurately.
  2. What about UCA to summit if/when WIU leaves? The Southland isnt what it once was, and they have baseball and are only 3.5 hours from ORU and 5.5 hrs from Kansas City. Football could play in a football only conf or as an associate member somewhere, and they are solid football program in case the Summit eventually ads it (unlikely but ya never know).

  4. People have been ripping NAU predictions because they are a founding member of the big sky blah blah blah.. They are my pick for joining. If not now, in a few years when the league is a bit more established. Geographically, it just makes too much sense, just like UND moving from the Big Sky to the Summit was inevitable.
  5. Just saw that they posted a tweet from Matt Brown. He's the guy who first broke this WAC story, and I have zero reason to doubt him, but the question is, what does it mean for a school to get vetted? My guess is they are just doing their due diligence and Augi will be a hard pass.
  6. But what's in it for the WAC? Do they really need small DII move-up that is completely out of their footprint? Makes sense for Augi, especially because it would be easier for them to get into the Summit as a post-transition D1 school, but I just cannot see the WAC needing them at this point.. Stranger things have already happened though!
  7. Especially because the season would have been over by now. Not gonna lie, it feels great, in JANUARY, being able to look forward to football season in only a few weeks! Makes for a much less depressing winter! This past fall however........ ughhhh. Not worth it long term hahah
  8. This is accurate. UND doesn't have anyone capable of driving the ball consistently either.
  9. yeah... not much you can do as a coach when your guys cant shoot the ball any better than some random joe at wellness center. He needs some better guard play ASAP. I will reserve judgment until after the next recruiting class.
  10. Didn't know that.. wow. Don't look at Kentucky's record! Omaha in the bonus already.
  11. Omaha down 2 going into the half at Kansas State.
  12. They might as well. Boise sounds like a cancer. Montana has its own issues though with financing and school attendance. Montana State as a university is dominating them and Montana isn't in the best shape right now to make the move. UM could prob manage it but it wouldnt look good politically.
  13. My god do we look bad! Protect the ball! Why are we playing so fast when nobody can handle the ball? Maybe I'm spoiled by Crandall and Stewart, but this team badly needs a legit point guard.
  14. You mention DAE - is he playing for sure? Drake message board - https://www.drakenation.com/146037/North-Dakota-at-Drake-1222
  15. Yeah, but this way allows them to avoid confrontation! Kind of like being passive aggressive, or talking about someone behind their back while being nice to their face. That said, there is message board speculation that the Texas schools want Chicago State gone as one of their conditions of moving to the WAC... The Summit wouldn't take them in, right?
  16. The Texas fans are saying the Louisiana schools have terrible funding for their athletics programs and are a basketball anchor. Southland is at the bottom of the barrel in basketball. I think they just want to be with programs that have better financial support for the most part, and the WAC provides a higher ceiling.
  17. Thanks! You guys are doing amazing work, and the podcast is better than most local radio shows. My question: How are different schools within the league handling attendance for league games? I believe UND and NDSU will be allowing 1k fans per game. Is that the same for all other summit schools, and does the Summit have any attendance rules? If some schools have fans and some do not, does fan attendance even matter enough to affect win/loss records?
  18. Would greatly prefer FCS playoffs if I'm them. If that is the ceiling with an undefeated team, FBS is pointless until the playoff field is expanded.
  19. Maybe, but I have my doubts... I think last year EWU was supposed to play here and instead we played an away game at EWU, so to get back to even we would need two games from them or another big sky school, since we were owed the return end of one of our Big Sky challenge games, and the game @ EWU should be treated as a seperate home and home, if we're keeping score, because you would think that Big Sky games would be home and homes. We also are owed a return game from the WAC challenge, as well, as I believe Seattle bailed on us last year. In my book, we are owed at least 3 home D1 games with no return from us. I really doubt that happens over the next couple years. Hope I'm wrong.
  20. Wow! Already up to $8,030
  21. Done
  22. Also, despite the existence of UND hockey and football, UND absolutely has enough money to bring a couple D1 teams in for non conference games each year. Our home schedule has been embarrassing and it's unacceptable how bad it has been. That's on our AD.
  23. I still think Sather can improve the program. He hasn't been here long. No amount of coaching can help a team that can't hit open shots. UND's issue has been a lack a scoring for large chunks of time in so many games this year. It cost us the game vs NDSU and was an issue vs SIU as well. UND needs guys that can hit open shots, and they need a point guard that can handle the ball and drive without bouncing the ball off of his legs/feet.
  24. Will be on this as soon as I find my wallet.....
  25. Duh.... seating chart is below. This is prob old news but whatever... pic below
