What don't you like about the walkways? The one from the new college of business to merrifield looks pretty good imo. However, I think that new Merrifield entrance is Akin to someone polishing an antique coin... kinda worried it will destroy the character and aesthetics of one of the most photographed and iconic buildings on campus.

Given the budget and scope, that would make a lot of sense. A $50 million appropriation from the Special Session launched a project that – in conjunction with up to $29 million from philanthropic sources – will upgrade Merrifield and Twamley halls, turning both buildings into hubs of state-of-the-art, 21st Century learning.

I think I read NDSU is going to be reclassified back to R1. Anyone know how UND stands in that regard, or where total research value for the year is released?

It makes a hell of a lot of sense to me. Interestingly, Omaha decided not to make a presentation to the MVC this past weekend. Maybe Fenton called them and hinted at Summit hockey?

Mirror scheduling just seems lazy. The schedule makers only have to figure out one schedule, really, then they just make it the opposite. Can't they just mix up the teams? What's the difference really? Double headers make a lot of sense to me as well. When UND has home bison games, I'm sure many people will just sit at home and watch both games on tv, so they don't miss anything, right? At least with double headers travel costs and logistical planning could be greatly reduced, plus the bonding between the Mens and Womens teams while traveling could be good for moral during long bus trips.

That says a lot about our program doesn't it?

UND can't afford a guy like Vigan or anyone better than Bubba, who isn't a gamble, at their funding level. Look at Vigans incentives..
