  1. My apologies to Hayduke if it is.
  2. Kickers are often the difference between wins and losses. Look at our game last week. Look at the Vikings history. No matter what kicker we signed, he would have been discussed, as all football commits are, because UND hockey isn't the only program at UND with a fan base. If UND signs one of the best kickers in the country, that is indeed something to be excited about, because it matters, and wins and losses will eventually be decided by this recruit's foot. Turning good news into an opportunity to !@#$ on the football program only hurts. If more fans like you supported the football program instead of dismissing it, we could probably sell out the Alerus more, improve recruiting, and in-turn, improve the program. Good to know you're a realistic band wagon Sioux fan, though.
  3. This is somewhat interesting: https://csnbbs.com/thread-780094-page-12.html
  4. You're the worst type of "UND" fan.
  5. Do you know when the next meeting is?
  6. No argument there. And for the record, I'm not saying criticism is bad - a lot of it has just gotten way overblown lately, imo. That said, if anyone wants to bash the AD I'm all for it .
  7. Can you guys stop ripping Weah without all the facts being known? This isn't politics... he's one of the best players, with a great story, who plays on a team that we all root for. Does it benefit anyone by treating him like he's Trump or a Clinton?
  8. No kidding... The amount of crying by our fan base this season has truly surprised me. A lot of the complaining thus far seems to be unjust, imo.
  9. Maag is also a captain though, so there would be reason for him to be at the game whether or not he was a game time decision.
  10. Tommy threw a dime for being pressured pretty heavily only about a half a second after the ball was snapped. Did he have time to check down to multiple receivers? Kinda doubt it. Not sure what more you could ask of him on a play like this, on thrid down, with two linebackers standing on the 20 yard line.
  11. There are inside scoops for UND football?
  12. You mean Feeney isn't Trey Lance???
  13. I hope we can find a QB better than Tommy, but the guy only has 12 1/2 career GP. Can he not improve?
  14. To those of you who want a new coach, are you really that confident we will end up with anyone better? Both of our coordinators would also likely be gone. Good luck getting anyone better at those spots with what UND is willing to pay. Will you want another new coach after 3-4 years? I'm not interested in risking what has been built up to this point for a 50/50 shot at having a worse coaching staff. Our roster/depth has continuously been getting better. Yes we are missing some key pieces but the team depth AND OUR EXPECTATIONS have been improving steadily - those are the important indicators imo.
  15. I have a lot to critique but there is so much bitching that It's not as enjoyable as usual to type it out, so I'll keep it short. Coaching staff needs to run some designed QB runs with no options for Tommy to throw. Force him to run and maybe he learns he doesn't need to play afraid. Also give him a chance to throw some more deep balls. He has thrown good deep balls when he has attemped them. Maybe we should only play one big receiver at a time? Our O-line is terrible and wasn't that great last spring either, which is partly the reason for so many short passing plays. Don't know how people can be ripping Otis so much when his first contact is usually before he make it to the line of scrimmage. Can we get a new strength coach yet? WHY IS OUR LINE ALWAYS SO SMALL!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Did UND get its 500k minimum payout from the ralph this past year?
  17. Pretty sure they negotiated and came to a new agreement, but he didn't get what he truly wanted, which was a larger % of ticket revenue if I recall correctly.
  18. Not sure we're looking at the same guy... Are you talking about Bo or Richter, the outside receiver on the far right? I was referring to Richter, #5. Also to clarify, by saying he should have turned facing the midle of the field, I just meant that he should have rotated his body clock-wise instead of counter clock-wise when he turned to run toward the end zone. Richter didn't create seperation or open himself up for a pass toward the sideling, and he took has eyes off the QB so Tommy couldn't throw it to him when he needed to release the ball, even if he wanted to go to him. Otherwise, if that was the route he was supposed to run, he isn't athletic enough to be on the field...
  19. Right. They dont have any ownership or recieve any type of investment revenue from it, correct? The word "acquired" confused me a bit.
  20. Arm chair QB WR #5 should have turned facing the middle of the field rather than to the sideline. He looks really unathletic that play.
  21. I think he was planning on running and his lane got clogged up sooner than he expected, and he panicked. The coaches have been encouraging him to run - learning experience.
