I seriously don't get why they don't pull an NCHC and create a power FCS conference with the best Summit and Big Sky schools. Have an East and West division. Basketball would probably be better than the MVC in the long run. Especially if UNI was forced to join if we broke apart the MVFC to create the new league. keep Denver and Omaha for Olympic sports. No Northern Colorado, and Denver might be happy enough to not move to a western basketball conference, given the chance.

IMO: True, but sometimes if you don't have the players (O-line), you need to be a little bit more creative. I don't think people are looking for an all out passing attack. They just want to keep the defense guessing. Get Santiago a few more passes (Danny Woodhead anyone?), pass it to the tight ends a couple more times a game, and roll Studsrud out a little bit more. Not asking much, the game just isn't being called in a way that correlates to the teams potential/talent. It's hard to run the ball between the tackles every play when the line sucks - take this years Vikings and AP for example.

Still can't believe they had Mollberg switch positions. IMO he's still probably the second best QB on the team.

Agreed, I like a level headed coach - Bubba's a rock. The Idaho State coach acts like you're talking about, Geaux, but they don't have the on field results either. Edit: The interviews are boring as hell though. Loved listening to Montana State's coach this week. Edit 2: In regard to the slow starts, I think it's just the fact that our O-line isn't very good. Pre game speeches don't do much IMO after the first play or two of the game, if that.
