If we had THAT record this year then this thread would be dead. Throw 2-3 big sky tourney wins to and its not that goofy to get to 20. Also. We played 12 non-conference games. So in your example it would be 20-10.

And I agree. Its what I expect. Just like bin, there should be no excuse why UND cant consistently be in the mix with Weber and Montana for league supremacy. I also dont want to be relegated to a play in game or 16 seed if we make NCAAs. I want to be Cinderella and pull upsets

Which is why next year should/will be the make or break year for Jones next contract. They only lose 2 rotation players next year (Nash and Antwi). Bring in Seales, Geno will play, Shanks and Cashman get full off-season in program. I think Hooker is going to have a monster offseason. Extra practices and scrimmages for a team that will return 4 with starting experience. We should not have the personnel issues. But.....no excuses. They need to return to the top of the conference and they need to have non conference success to. A 20 win season and top 3 finish in the Sky can really help his case. Winning the Sky doesnt hurt either. We cant keep the .500 trend going. They will have the talent next year, got to do something with it. If they struggle again, make the change.

Weber lost twice so that makes this weekends games even more of a heartbreak/disappointment

Guess I missed the CHA autobid, Mercyhurst sits at 13. They aren't too far back from Clarkson at the 7th spot. Hopefully getting to the WCHA championship game again would be enough for an at large.

Absolutely embarrassing, as a student that was pathetic that another fellow student did that and im glad he was kicked out. He should have his tickets revoked for the remaining time on campus. He should have to pubically apologize to cosch Montgomery and the entire DU hockey team and to UND.

If UND is going to be in the Big Sky tourney, they need this one. They have made some improvements since they first matched up with Montana, Shanks has gotten his legs underneath him, Hooker has been solid. We need to defend home court in this one, anything less than a sweep is unacceptable. Splitting does nothing and losing both pretty much will end any serious hopes of getting in. (we would need to win out, which would mean sweep 3 out of 5 on the road, including UNC, SAC and PSU).

Think about this for tomorrow: UND takes on Montana for conference control Sac State takes on Eastern Washington (3rd/4th battle) ISU takes on NAU (5th/6th battle) Weber and SUU lock horns (battle for last spot, held by Weber) UNC and MSU battle (UNC in 7th, MSU in 10th, but playing themselves back into the conference playoff race instead of falling out) Idaho and Portland battle for basement (Idaho was picked 3rd!)

Excellent move for both the short and long term. Get Stafford and Myers that can help now push for the playoffs, and the prospects that can keep building the Jets improving farm system, plus the pick doesn't hurt either.

Bad is an understatement. Im sure Hazen-Beulah would be a top contender in our conference. Heard rumors of him taking the SSM route as well. Also heard he wants to stay in Luverne all 4 years. Hope the kid is legit. Be the 1st real d-1player to ever come out of SW Minnesota.
