  1. Would he play QB or are we looking at ATH?
  2. Swap Kansas City and DU in the tiers and I don't disagree in how he has them separated. (positions on the other hand....) He isn't wrong in saying that the teams 2-7 are going to be a crapshoot on where they end up.
  3. FYP The hype train has started on that and is full speed ahead mode. *Before I get attacked here: I'm not saying he isn't worthy, I just think it is a bit too soon to start thinking he is a first rounder already based off of 1 years work (although it is very, very impressive). Being from his hometown, its pretty exciting for the kid.
  4. Curious. If this were to hold true, wouldn't that also mean that it wouldn't be necessarly for someone to be in quarantine for 14 days? Instead focusing on 11 days?
  5. Have they made holes 8 and 9 any easier or are they sticking to the original course plan?
  6. Was an interesting read. Be interesting to see which schools would be in the best position to add and wonder which are going to drop.
  7. I saw this list.... Most of this list is unrealistic for the reality of school buildings/classroom staffing/classroom sizes/etc.
  8. However see him hole-out on 7 after Barkley was talking smack about his golf game was funny as hell.
  9. I know they have a tutoring place on campus somewhere.
  10. https://www.startribune.com/st-thomas-still-views-division-i-move-as-best-long-term-strategy/570692292/
  11. I've honestly haven't seen anything down here that is praising the decision. Hospitality MN has stated that the outdoor patio was never discussed. It has been hinted that someone in MDH got into the Governors ear.
  12. I've been trying to see the logic behind the latest moves and this is the first time where I have to go and say: I don't see it (I'm an equal opportunity ripper*, so don't accuse me of carrying a blue card or a red card). I was fully expected to see 50% capacity in restaurants, bars, barbershops, salons. (I wasn't shocked about the churches tbh). The only thing I can see with the restaurants is that if someone tested positive, they could go back and say: well here are all the people who were here at that time (since they are only taking reservations), so you can contact trace.** In retrospect, we should have known something was up when the briefing was moved back an hour. I saw this as I scrolled through twitter and this sums up nicely with the confusion: https://mailchi.mp/fluence-media/morningtake11718-2248546 Walz still has a long ways to go to get to Dayton, it would take a lot to get to that. Given I heard that Minneapolis might make mask wearing mandatory (which I have a problem with***) and knowing that Frey leans from with the Dayton wing of the DFL, I could have seen him doing the same thing. The ONLY thing that I will say was decent about that briefing yesterday was that they did give further guidance on what the next two phases will look like. *Copyright the Common Man **Now that logic goes out the window with malls open at 50% and is a very valid counterpoint destroying my attempt at logic ***I'm not against masks, but I am against making it mandatory because when you tell someone to do something, you will get more pushback and defiance (see Ohio).
  13. So the one time transfer is dead for 20-21 season. Try again in 21-22 season. https://www.si.com/college/2020/05/20/ncaa-one-time-transfer-waiver-put-on-hold-immediate-eligibility?utm_source=twitter.com&xid=socialflow_twitter_si&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sinow
  14. My first hockey game was that night, as a freshman in the student section. Made that ticket campout for season tickets worth it (although that campout was a massive cluster****)
  15. Sic posted something about context of the numbers. I saw what Cratter mentioned and it got me curious. Seeing that their positive cases percentage was well within the range of tolerance, it really makes that raw number of cases not that attention grabbing. I'd be curious on antibody tests as well to see where things stand.
  16. Interesting stuff. Going to be interesting to see what gets decided for the fall. If I was a betting man.... I would lean that there will be more hybrid models (some in-person, some online) that school will chose to do. I would also lean that it would be more likely that in-person will happen more than full distance learning.
  17. I did a little research, I was bored due to the rain. 1,801 positive cases out of 22,708 tests. That works out to around 7.8% positive rate. Well within the range of the 3-12% or under the 10% positive rate that is the "benchmark"
  18. Read that France might have had this floating around in Mid-November, two months before their first confirmed case. They already were studying a few possible cases from December.
  19. That one was sitting on a tee and you knocked that one out of the park.
  20. What this does tell me: These three better be ready to step in and have an impact. Weah: stay eligible Skona: Build off of what you did the last few games of the season Creighton: Be the real deal from day 1
  21. MOA to open June 1st People, of course, are taking this rationally.
  22. I think you are being conservative with that number
