  1. My guess is Feeney is the 2, Romfo is the 3, Jerry K is at 4 but honestly... (I wouldn't be shocked if he quickly shot up the depth chart). Q is the new Brockstar
  2. I don't think they are wrong. UND can finish in the top 3 this year. ANY improvement from the defense will strengthen that claim.
  3. Twin Cities He goes to Park Center (same HS as Q), who has turned back into a perennial power in Minnesota.
  4. He looks gooooodddd. If he can show that he can hit that 3 point shot with consistency this year and can be around an 80% free throw shooter... he will at least be on a 1st team All-Summit team this year and could be a sleeper Summit League POY candidate... and UND will finish in the top 3 of the standings Most important: UND has something in a player they haven't had since Q/Geno. A player that has IT and can make THAT play you need to win a game on both ends of the floor.
  5. Time to land another player from PC. Get him Sather.
  6. They probably are still chasing two non-conference games due to the departure of WIU. Unless they will fill them with non-d1s. Was worried that the BSC-Summit Challenge might have been scrapped due to said departure, but there hasn't been any news one way or the other (or what adjustments need to be made for squads who were going to play WIU on the BSC side of things..
  7. Plus you still have Varland and Woods-Richardson in St. Paul and they won't give up on Paddick and Mahle just yet.
  8. That has to be Taj's younger bro no? (Zashon)
  9. The problem now is this: DFA'ing Gallo and Kepler for example, won't have the same impact now as it would have in June. So there is only one option here: The Boy Wonders aren't going to do it unless ownership forces their hands.
  10. If they are selling, you might as well blow the whole thing up and start over. If Buxton can't play CF anymore... its time for a difficult conversation. Give Wallner and Larnich fair shots in the outfield to see if they are the answers out there.
  11. I'm sure someone is hired and just waiting for the official word.
  12. and after that the schedule gets easier outside of a tricky game at UNI and USD, but both of those are winnable! 8-3, 6-2 let's roll
  13. Pivoting back to reality here: So how did San Diego State screw this up so bad for themselves, where they can realistically find themselves out of the MWC and have no home to go to?
  14. Is it possible to speculate and theorize that perhaps... they missed their window? That they should have struck when the iron was hot when they were the darings of the FCS world back in the mid to late 2010s?
  15. 5-1 since the closed door meeting (could have easily been 6-0)
  16. Thought it was fair. They broke down offense and defense and listed the schedule. Didn't make any predicitions or game by game breakdowns. I'll let you be the judge if you decide to read it.
  17. SDSU might be trying to pull a George Costanza, trying to get back into the office after quitting.
  18. Plus with Duran and Jax on the back end, if you can get 7 out of your starters and turn it over to them, you have a good chance. Again, still a small sample size, but if Balazovic can keep it up, there's your middle relief fix.
  19. If you are Fargo and GF: It might be a mild irritance but I don't think it will affect you too negatively. If you are in Whapeton and Mayville: PANIC!!!!!!
  20. I think it is more likely they keep tearing it down to the studs, and it is time to do so.
  21. Jets need a new captain with Wheeler out. Keep tearing it down, Chevy.
  22. Looks like Squires is coming down today as well. Damn. Best dining hall on campus. No contest.
  23. So lets run a though exercise here: Say the denial happens. -You still have King, who will get the bulk of the minutes at the point, but after that looks dicey. Perhaps a direction to look at would be Eaglestaff running the show when King is not on the floor. Maybe this is an area where Brooks can carve out a role for himself as well. It becomes a big concern now, espeically should anything happen to King, however it isn't fatal. I am guessing it is now far too late into the game to bring someone in that could help at this position. -The decision of Trent to transfer would really look like a big loss. If Trent was still around, these issues at the point would pretty much be moot. -A silver lining: This would give Ihenacho a chance to heal up his body from injuries the last two years at JMU and get in lots of training.
