Should be the black hole for that game
-
I know for a fact they're getting new unis, I had heard from a god source that some stealthy new helmets were in play but I haven't heard much of that recently.
-
Oh and speaking of D2 guys, Miller reminds me of a smaller slower Ryan Chappell.
-
I can't say Sutton is fast because he's not, but he is a load. The reason he gets hurt is becuase of how he runs and where he runs. He runs through people instead of around like Jake. At about 230 we need that type of physical back on our team. He gives our offense the balance it needs. Jake and Jer are quicker and faster but they won't be breaking too many tackles any time soon like Sutton does. They all compliment eachother and give us a well rounded backfield for next season which is very exciting. Also don't forget that Sutton was dominant against Fresno St. until he pulled his hammy. He's no Jake Miller but he can still ball.
-
care to elaborate?
-
He reminds me alot of Josh Murray. More powerful and hard nosed with more pop behind his pads and better long speed. He's very strong for a freshman and fast enough. But when you look at the depth chart this year doesn't favor him. Miller Sutton Garmin then Sparks if he's ahead of Butler if he comes back and Shagaubay. Should be a very solid special teams contributor and could get mop up duty but I don't see alot of carries next year barring injury.

The expectations of fans are what make programs great they root as hard as they expect teams to play and they get pissed when they don't win becuase they want it so bad. We should be happy with our very spoiled fans, although some take it too far I will admit. Who would you suggest? Bring Blaise back? Hakstol has done quite well. York didn't win crap at BC until recently in his long career. It took him 7 years to win his first and then 7 more to win his second. Look at him now. Three years ago at NDSU their football fans wanted Bohl gone and now they worship the ground on which he walks. It's UND it'll happen, don't forget that luck is involved in winning a championship and maybe it's being stockpiled right now.
-
Skill was never in question but what really seemed to piss people off was that he seemed to be playing not to get hurt and would shy away from certain physical situations. He just seemed to have no heart which at UND is never tolerated by most fans.
-
I've seen him hit the roof of the Alerus at the 50 yard line with a throw. My jaw was on the floor.
-
refresh my memory on Lee, I can remember him not having the greatest time at UND but I can't remember what it was or why? Maybe it had to do with his hitting opposing players with his purse instead of his pads?

You said that there wasn't a big difference between the two, which, given what Goska meant to last years team as the heart and soul, was a little bit of a slap in the face. Goska's passing efficiency was 128.0 Bradley was 99.0. In four starts Goska passed for 999 yards which is basically 200 more than Bradley in 7 starts. Goska passed for 9 TDs to Bradley's 3. Comp % Goska not very good at 59% and Bradley at a Jamarcus Russel-like 52%. The point being, Goska made a massive difference for last years team. Bradely could make a huge jump like Goska did as a passer, but given his machanics, stature, arm strength, pocket awareness, and leadership I don't see him being better than Hansen this year or Comes next year. I like the guy but I just don't see a D1 qb when I watch him play.
-
Please don't make me post the passing stats for each guy from last year. Bradley's stats are terrible. You sound like you're a huge fan of him. I was hoping he would be the real deal when he came in last year but after the first game it was very clear that he didn't have it. I've seen enough of the practices to notice that Hansen is at another tier, there is a reason he was rated 18th in the nation coming out of high school. His touch and reads are unreal and he has barley been in the system. After a summer and fall camp I think he will be the best we've had since Freund except this time the guy is 6'5" with a stronger arm.
-
Theres a reason he was replaced by Goska nuff said
-
You honestly think he has a better arm than Landry? You do realize Landry had a 90+ mph fastball in highschool right? Landry had a very very strong arm. Bradley not so much. Coaches commented on Landry's arm strength, they've mentioned anything but that with Bradley. Next time you see a UND practice watch Bradley throw and then watch the other QBs throw, particularily Hendrickson and you should notice a big difference in velocity.
-
good point. I just wonder where he would go, his production was very poor last year and he wasn't that noticable to me when he was healthy. I wish we had one more forward line to fit all of the players in. I feel like the scratches next year are going to be quality players that would otherwise be able to contribute which I guess speaks to the depth that will be there next year barring injury like this year.
-
I think Hansen has the job all but wrapped up. Can you define what you mean by good arm? From what I saw in his passes last year Bradley had an average arm at best by high school standards. Maybe my standards are too high but when someone one hops a bubble screen to the field side I don't see a good arm.

updated possible combos Saunders Gothberg Maris Forbort Matson MacWilliam Schmaltz Simpson Gleason (could be a huge, but talented, mess if Jones comes) Parks Knight Kristo Rowney Grimaldi ODonnell McMillan McMillan Koules Pattyn Chyzk St. Clair obviously before mitch is able to play it will look different Parks Knight Kristo Rowney Grimaldi ODonnell St. Clair/Chyzk McMillan Koules Pattyn St. Clair/Chyzk Senkbeil/Gaarder

any word on the scrimmage from anyone who was there?
-
Greg Hardin absolutly dominated todays practice. He caught everything even with tight coverage. The offense took a huge step forward today. Even with the wind passing was on point. Hansen and Bradley each connected on 40+ yard TD throws.
-
BC is winning for the same reason that the SEC can't be touched in football. Team speed. Much like the SEC elite they are just faster than everyone else.
-
I think he was giving the perspective of the ignorant FBS view point. I think we have a really good chance of winning and am actually expecting it. The team looks lightyears ahead of last years team on offense and the D is more athletic especially at linebacker.
-
great day for some spring ball. not a cloud in the sky. hopefully someone on here attends practice today, it should be a good one with the weather.
-
nothing wrong with getting stomped by a guy in a higher weight class. he hung in there for a bit but that was like a big brother little brother fight.

THE University of North Dakota ManBearPigs? Half man half bear and half pig, it's a perfect mascot.

Its also borderline projection. Since he/his school will be screwed if the morons win he is saying 'no, it's the NCAA that will be screwed'
