Since this is a 2012 early look thread I think that on paper we are better than NDSU. Also we'd have about a 60% chance of winning if we met in the playoffs.

Have we played as D1 opponents yet? No. So yes, for now. Once we play we can start a new count or if you're interested in catching up you can add to the total to see if NDSU can get near 50% wins against UND.

Correction, 1>0. D2 championships shouldn't count for comparison now that we're D1 and you have one.

did you ever consider that the old ones were the wrong color. Our green is supposed to be Kelly green like it is now, not forest green like NDSU. And the color is nowhere near pea green, its just a change. I guess if you want them to look like they used to you can stay at home and change the saturation and brightness on your tv.

Bison06 and JohnnyboyND7 are hardly trolls, they get a little pissy every once and a while like everyone else but I don't consider them trolls just because they like an inferior school. I like that we have at least two posters from NDSU who at least try to be realistic unlike most on bville

Another DE that has me interested is Hartung. Benched almost 400 as a true freshman... I did hear that he has to build his legs up more to keep his anchor better. Lots of potential on the D line

He is a massive young man. He has bowling balls for shoulders. If he has been working hard on his speed he will be a handful at over 270

Not counting the easy pick of Hansen.... On special teams Will Rattell will be a new Dan Hendrickson. Mr Kennedy taking heads off. EJ Welch being a beast in the middle. Ben Peters destroying people in the middle. Jameer Jackson dominating DBs. Roman Bridges on returns. I could go on all day. I'm excited to see anyone new and see veterans improve. I'm also excited to see if there are any unexpected impact players that will turn some heads too.

His job isn't going to be to teach, but they will learn alot from him. I learned countless things from my dad and others but was hardly ever taught those things. Sometimes the best way to learn how to do something the right way is to just watch.

Ok speed. His feet and rout running have improved ten fold since the first time I saw him practice at UND. He won't run away from anyone but he will get open and then run them over. Our LBs have a tough time getting him to the ground. Pair that with toughness and strong hands and he's a little bit of extra speed away from a monster.

He's bigger than most LBs let alone DBs

He is all of 240. I think he was listed lighter. Word was he came in around 228, a hard 228 at that.
