I think if Braden Hansen had transferred to another big sky school we'd be making a bigger deal of him than those you just listed. The only ones that worry me are Johnson and McGhee since we always have trouble with dual threat QBs

We moved away from the pistol last year, that was more of a gimmick to try and compensate for lack of talent. UND will always pound the rock. I just hope that we finally get some play calling with some balls, we never take risks and it holds us back. With Hansen at QB we will be able to chuck it around to spread the D out and then pound it up the middle instead of trying to run into 8 and 9 men in the box all game long. Our offense is going to be light years ahead of last year and the last 5 years for that matter. It will be the best since the 2007 version that averaged 500 yards per game with Freund/Dressler/Chappell

Attendance Buy - every game other than Mimes means something unlike the past few years Hardin Buy -There are a bunch of good WRs but he was too good to be covered in the spring, even Daryl Brown had issues with him, and will have others to take the defensive focus off of him. I'll give you what you want with this. Portland St. will be a much harder game than people thought but they are on a long road trip in a unfamiliar place against a team that will be rolling and will lose in a close game SDSU lost alot last year, we're pretty good on the road so don't be too surprised if we do a little something down in Cali. Eastern Washington will be a good game defiantly and we will have trouble covering their receivers but our front 7 will get after the QBs all year and will make up for a much questioned secondary. Montana will lose at the Alerus in the blackout because 1. we will out play them 2. the fans will be there like the 2001 playoffs and will be LOUD and last but not least 3. the Montana players will be too distracted by the 'untapped/raped resources' they will have before them in the cheerleaders and female fans to pay much attention to winning the game. Montana St. is the king of the Big Sky these days and will be very very hard to beat UND beat SUU on the road even with some home cooking by the officials to try and give them the game as we were running out the clock. Any team we beat last year we should beat this year. Cal Poly barely beat a team that could not pass the ball last year and will run into a buzzsaw at the Alerus and will be torched by Braden Hansen Our team doesn't care how 'proven' the teams they play are, they just beat them

We need the IPF stat. As of now the Hyslop is used by every team other than hockey in some form or another. Football uses it all the time for in season freshmen weights/conditioning and winter conditioning in the morning not to mention physical testing (you'd think 40 times would improve running on new turf instead of a dusty composite gym floor) The main arena gets used all the time as of now. Once we build the IPF that can be converted into something of use since the IPF will replace it. I honestly have no idea what it could be usefully transformed into other than a nice basketball arena since the entire athletic department will be housed in the IPF.

If Joe Kleason and Lynch are 100% by the start of the season and Dwayne Brown is also 100% then we will have a very good team. At safety someone needs to step up. Mersereau needs to learn how to tackle and find the ball in the air to make the impact that someone with his athletic prowess should easily make. If we can find two consistent safeties we could win up to 9 games with all variables being favorable such and injuries and crucial calls. I bet this team has 6-9. 9-2 equals playoffs and maybe hosting a game or two. 8-3 equals playoffs on the road (FargoDome?). 7-4 equals shouldn't have scheduled SDSSMTOSD

That game is a guarantee. It's not a garbage UND team this year like the one that Sioux Falls pounded. This years team will be considerably better than last years team and teams won't be able to but 8 and 9 guys in the box and dare us to pass like last year with Sioux Falls.
