' 216 with a 5.5 average at Fresno. Jake Miller had 961 yards and 13 TD's even though for half the season apposing defenses knew that even a slant was testing the outer limits of Joey Bradley's arm strength. After the first 4 games teams were putting 8 in the box all day and asking us to pass on them, which didn't usually go well.

With the departure of coach Belmore perhaps we should try and bring in Jimmy Kleinsasser in as a coach. He could possibly coach tight ends and coach Schleusner to wide recievers. I just think it'd be extremely cool to have him on staff call me crazy but I think it'd look great and be a fantastic fit and selling point.

he was talking about recruiting coordinator

we're pretty stacked at guard right now. DT and OG are pretty similar positions as far as o and d compairisons go so im sure if our depth is at quesiton he'll be the first in line to fill the hole.

Am I mistaken in thinking that the coaching staff at NDSU is virtually the same as the 2003 one that lost to UND? Would that have been a coaching advantage for UND or better players or a fluke? If you look at the UND defense and special teams you can tell that they have great coaching. Everyone was down on Mussman even though he had to try and win with the pile of talentless garbage that Lennon left for him but I think that what he was able to show this year was nothing that a substandard coach would be able to accomplish. As far as geographical coherance..... would you rather drive to Vermillion SD or charter a flight out to Cali? Play at SDSU or Montana? Let's not act like NDSU didn't want to be in the Big Sky. The reason they like football in Fargo is 1. Fargo Shanley was once the top high school team in the nation and engrained football in the blood of Fargo and 2. they have nothing else to cheer for. They like their basketball but every weekend I-29 is packed with Fargo residents driving to a hockey game in Grand Forks against a premiere power school. We are rivals with Northern Colorado from the old NCC and have played enough meaningful games with SUU Davis and Poly to be budding rivals. And with Montana playing at the Alerus three years in a row you can bet there will be a rivalry brewing. The prominence part starts next year because winning during the trasition is hard but in the long run means very little compaired to making a playoff run. We will see them in the playoffs next year if they don't get complacent in the off season.

He was off the list and now he's on. I'm glad thats all it was.

Is there a reason that anthony fletcher isn't listed on SFI's 2012 commitments list?

Just like NDSU was the only real good team from 'the valley'

Don't forget about Townsend. He had a horrible ankle injury his freshman fall camp and from what I hear is just now getting back to being where he was with the ankle befire the injury. He could be a big time possesion reciever. Also Roman Bridges should be a stud kick returner. And Jer Garmin can hopefully improve as much as Jake Miller did from his freshman to sophomore year. I'm expecting big things on offense, the playbook should be wide open.

sure he's injured. but you can't injure chemisty, which that line has alot of.

Is anyone else excited to have another player with a great football name on the team? Conrad Schwarzkopf is an excellant name. Myles Jablonski is another. Stanchik is another. Anyone have any favorite classic football names of former players?
-
Yup. I don't want to spoil any surprise though

I didn't say right now spaz. Look at the process that Boise did apply it to UND. Yes, Really. It was people like you who gave them no chance in those games. Fool you twice shame on.....?
-
Boise State did it. Beat Alabama, beat Oklahoma. Short sighted people like yourself will always doubt visionary statements play it safe and watch the risk takers do great things.

It hasn't been just football. Hockey is down (other than Red River) so are basketball and soccer. Central used to have over 100 players, this year they were down to around 50 if they were lucky. And those 50 players were garbage compaired to how they used to be on an average year. I'm not sure if you put South and Davies together this year that they would have even been good. Were there any elite players in the AAA EDC this year?

The horseshoe design was scrapped in its place is a retractable roof stadium that still encorporates the facad of Memorial and would seat around 25000. The drawings are online.

Dom Izzo tweeted that Brett Pierce committed to NDSU.

DomIzzoWDAY Per @monkebusiness Beach standout Landon Lechler is down to #NDSU, #UND and #DickinsonState, official visit to NDSU this weekend Really? Dickinson State? Really?

Will Ratelle (stud), Roman Bridges, Zach Adler, Jameer Jackson, BJ Fifita/Javon Butler. Maybe also Brandon Anderson depending on if Devin Barton is above him or not.
-
Pretty average leg strength. Looks awkward when he kicks. He doesn't bend his knee which is very weird and slow. And why would he kick off of a tee if he wants to kick in college?
-
You can never have too many athletes. Great teams stockpile talent. We'll be able to ground and pound and spread it out, what a nightmare to defend.
-
I have the same feeling about some of these players as you do, but just in looking at the other Mussman recruiting classes im just going to trust that they are mostly all quality players with at the very least potential and work ethic.
-
They're working on the funding and naming rights of such a thing as we speak. The funding is included in that ND Spirit campaign.

Am I the only person that has a problem with Eidsness playing? Dell is the far better goalie and doesn't flop around the crease and go sliding beyond the posts leaving a wide open net like Eidsness. With the depth situation boardering on ridiculous you'd think the coaches would at least want the best option in goal.
