That's as big of a joke as ndsu having one banner for all of their national titles in football. It's made of vynel and looks tacky as hell. Fitting for them but not Wisconsin.
-
He was really good as a fr then last year I'm not sure what happened. This year doesn't look great either. Maybe he's just in a rut and is thinking too much. I really liked him as a fr while last year I saw him as a liability.
-
The only hope I see is that it's his alma mater and just think if he came in here and turned things around quickly how much of a legend in UND history he would be. That would be tough to turn down in my opinion.
-
I'm looking forward to seeing miamis top line since somebody had the audacity to compare them to a line contains Toews Oshie and Duncan..... I hope they aren't that good.
-
So let's say they bring in Tibesar, which I would love, which coaches do you think he would keep on staff?
-
I've heard great things about that class as a whole. I've heard that they're 'big fuckers' they bust their ass they don't make excuses and they want to win. This is from as good a source as there is. We have a big talented and hungry group of fr.
-
I don't disagree with this post. What I disagree with is people taking borderline slanderous shots at the coaches with no actual insight.
-
Not really. That kid had not made good on his considerable talents. He's one of the most gifted players on the team but is way too inconsistent.
-
To suggest that the coaches don't know what they're doing is a joke. They get paid to coach. How many posters on here do? Mussman seemed to know what he was doing as the OC during one of the most successful runs in UND football history. What pisses me off is when joe armchair quarterback logs on here and posts a bunch of bs as though it's a fact. It's not fair to the coaches that are doing everything they can to save this season. I'm sure plenty on here think the defense has coached themselves to improve the last couple weeks and motivated themselves.
-
I think we've found our next head coach. Or the Vikings next coach. Or would they both be below you?
-
That's not really their thing this year. They don't have those 3 studs that could all go deep at WR like last year.

This post shows a clear lack of knowledge on nutrition. If you have a very high metabolism like me and want to gain weight all the while working out at extreme intensity 5 days a week you need to eat a serious amount of calories. As a side note my body fat went from 3% to 5% after I gained all the weight. Guess what? I got faster and more explosive and yet I weighed more. I was also more durable. So you're saying muscle weighs more than fat? Thanks for that knowledge, I had no idea. Just eating calories adds fat? My goodness. I'm almost at a loss with how to respond to this drivel. If you don't eat enough fats and carbs, which your body uses for energy guess where it looks for energy next? Your muscles. You will not gain muscle mass if you don't eat enough fats and carbs because your body is too busy burning everything you eat to meet your energy demands. If you don't work out and you eat too much of anything you will get fat because your body will store the excess as fat for later when it needs it. If you work out you body will burn everything up until it gets what it needs, after that it repairs/builds muscles which is why you need to eat as many calories as possible. You don't see body builders eating salads and leans steaks and fruits only to gain muscle. They pound mass amount of calories and protein to build up their bodies because they know that you can't make any gains if you don't have enough calories. It's really really simple. The more you workout the more you have to eat. BTW Jake is in great condition, how's that working out for him at 168 lbs? If he were 200 lbs he'd be in just as good of condition and would be able to break arms tackles and be a true feature back.

Alot of times when EWU 'made mistakes' the UND defense was in good position. There were only a couple of plays where EWU missed on a play and the defense wasn't there to force a difficult throw. Other than the two long pass plays there weren't alot of breakdowns. Adams made a few special plays in tough situations that the defense defended pretty well but still got beat. You can't expect a team to out of nowhere turn it on and play a perfect game. They took multiple steps forward against EWU which is encouraging. If they continue to improve on defense, which I think they will as Kuksa continues to play better with every snap, they could help the team win the majority of the remaining games. If the running game can get going and they don't turn the ball over on offense we could have a totally different team on our hands near the end of the season than the one we saw get stomped by the Montanas.
-
So they didn't play with the most passion and effort of the year? The defense didn't hold EWU well below their season averages and do better than Oregon St? So you went from expecting UND to get blown out by 50+ to thinking they needed to shut them out for the effort to receive any credit? Keep moving the line.
-
And yet they played motivated. Strange how that works.

I have a ridiculous metabolism and thought i couldn't gain weight. One year I committed myself to eating as much as possible and from that point on I was able to put on over 30 lbs of muscle and was able to keep it on. We're talking a ton of food here. It takes dedication to stuff yourself til you almost burst 5 times a day but it works. I also didn't lose speed because it was almost entirely muscle and I made sure my core was strong enough to carry the extra weight. If I could do it than anyone can do it. They just have to want to bad enough.
-
Anderson has been compared to Kuper. Is that good enough? I agree that the depth isn't where it needs to be yet but Kleason was a really good player before he injured his ankle last year. He hasn't quite been the same since.
-
The players have their routine so headphones and not looking at the crowd too much may keep them focused. The weird the Mussman though. His biggest weakness is his ability to handle fans and media. He only cares about football and isn't good at pretending to enjoy the spotlight.
-
It comes down to nutrition. If a skinny guy doesn't eat an extreme amount of food he won't gain weight. That's on Jake.
-
Wisconsin and Minnesota are also apart of B1G country. How will players in Illinois get familiar with Und? By knowing players who went to UND and seeing them succeed. That's why we should hit all three of those states hard. I'm not sure where I said we should only recruit Illinois kids as your last sentence would suggest. That'd be plain stupid. I've been on the record as saying we should use Illinois and it's wealth of talent instead of coastal states and have the foundation of our team be nd mn and wi. If we can get more quality players out of Illinois in a given year than out usual states why we that be an issue?
-
A pipeline is a pipeline and if we can have another one in a state with as many quality players as Illinois then that's a strength to the program. Also Illinois isn't much farther away than Wisconsin so I don't really see how Wisconsin is a plus and Illinois is a minus.
-
Also Illinois is a great football hotbed that has talent all over the place but still that Midwestern grit. Nothing wrong with that.
-
If they don't understand UND before they get here they will before they're done. I'm sure Golladay is pretty happy at UND.
-
I cannot tell you how much I am longing for the time I can watch UND move the ball methodically down the field at will behind a power running game that demoralizes the defense. Maybe we can get that going with Sparks and Sharp.
