I went to every game this season and never gave up on the players. But a quitter is a quitter and the football program is better off without them regardless of how talented they are.
You can recruit talent but you can't recruit chemistry or 'it', those things just happen. NDSU has had a lot of all three of those the past three years. They have a lot of young talent but there's no guarantee the other two will come together next season and in the near future.
He said the players that were leaving were predominantly black. Not that being black is why they left. Big difference. All you sensitive types need to loosen up the panties. The reason it came off wrong was because he didn't expound further on it and too many people feel it is their responsibility to be the white voice for black America.
Anyone know if UND is looking at Dennis Johnson's son Casey? He scored an absolutely sick game winner last night against Red River and is a great skater. Reminds me a bit of Marto just not as good of a supporting cast.
The underlying socio cultural theme is undeniable regardless of if people like to hear it or not. It's about more than just race though, there are plenty of black players, Shaugs and others, who are mature and loyal and have not only commitment but can see the big picture. It's more of where the kids are from than what color their skin is though....
Tyrhe Ivery, RJ McGill, Aeron Carr, Anthony Fletcher, Casey Young, Jake Disterhaupt, Roman Bridges. There are a lot more quality athletes at wr. If Kenny leaves we'll be fine, just not as good.
With Jackson leaving and possibly Golladay, which I hope doesn't happen, look for Tyrhey Ivery to return to WR for his senior season. Remember he made huge plays as a fr wr.
