We've needed a power runner for a long time. I was initially worried that we didn't have a single commit but now we have way more than we've ever had. These players all look solid and best of all they all have Midwestern(Manitoba included) roots.

I disagree. NDSU and UND were at similar levels when NDSU jumped up. Look at the separation they've put between us. Had we moved up at the same time there's no telling what would have happened. I can only assume that the rivalry would have been taken to new heights with the legitimacy of FCS compared to D2.

Unfortunately UND admin had no vision and it cost not only the sports programs but the institution as a whole.

Speaking of, he's now up to 240 lbs and will start at ILB. How awesome for him, from walk on to one of their most important players.

UND doesn't have a long history with pulling redshirts so a list of walk ons to get the shirt pulled probably doesn't exist.

I was hoping Bubba would go with no logos until players dress for a game. It's a good psychogical trick to build player investment.

Gotta love the authority in Bubba as he talks to his team. You can tell he's the boss and demands respect. He's so soft spoken with the media that it's tough to imagine him being good and talking to his teams. This is the opposite of Mussman who never really seemed to project absolute confidence.

He's a nice physical runner. I love the play where he blows up his own lineman and then drags 4 defenders for 5 yards.

I want the game to happen. They won't get destroyed.

If we want to play them it will be in Fargo to start. Either we suck it up and do it or we can negotiate with a brick wall. Or just make the playoffs....

Right now we have a pretty bad relationship with NDSU, especially in football. We can build respect back up by sucking it up and playing there a few times then normal negotiations will be able to take place and a home and home rotation could start.

They'll eventually come to Grand Forks.

Once one game happens more will follow. It doesn't matter where. It doesn't matter if we get slaughtered. It just needs to happen.

Who had the most time at center? Did any unproven OL step up today?

Keep up the good work. What type of videos will we be treated to this year? I assume there's no opening drive? Will the my story videos be for all of the seniors?

ASU Oregon and USC to the NCHC would be cool. Phil Knight could make it happen. ASU and USC have to have plenty of big time doners to make it happen.
