I am loving this recruiting class. We need to find the next Marcus Hendrickson and some mean ugly linemen. Toss is some skill guys and you've got the cherry on top of a very promising class.

Personally I'd love that. All sports though.

I remember someone stating recruiting as a weakness of Bubba.... Looks more than fine to me. Keep getting more athletic big kids for the lines and we need one or two taller receivers. Poor mans Golladay types, it'll probably be years before we get lucky with another WR like him.... Side note, wow is he quick for big kid. Tons of frame left too.

Beebs will tire himself out eventually. As a side note I'm pleased with what MafiaMan has added to the football discussion. It's nice to have knowledgable posters wig don't just regurgitate what other people say.

Once the OL gels and the fr and first time starters we will be a decent team. I still need to watch a couple more games to really make a true prediction for any game outcome or expectations.

I disagree, especially when playing an FBS team.

Barring injury catastrophes I think we'll look back at this season and be thoroughly impressed with how much better the team is the last week vs the first. There were some good signs last night and I think things will be basically figured out by players and coaches by the end of the year. I'm not saying playoffs but I'm saying by the end of the year we should have a team that would have given SJSU a very competitive game.

He had a good efficient night after narrowly throwing two costly INTs. Reyes and Tillman could have had a pick 6

I thought 94 held things up pretty well. With more game reps and rotation thanks to Cheatom and Walker being back he'll be fresh all game and hopefully very disruptive. The DL as a whole is already light years ahead of last season.

Will Rattelle had himself a nice game. He looked fast and strong and when he got to guys they went down. He should have a fine year. If Reyes makes that pick and Pickaski doesn't whiff on that third down block on our first drive I think the game would have been totally different. Those are plays that will be made in a game or two.

Add Cheatom and Walker to the DL. That should help some. Coach Jenkins Moore up on the playbook should help. Get those fr more experience. Meindel punting. All these things will make our team more competitive.

Mollberg didn't look awful but didn't seem in control. OL issues? They didn't help. It'll help when the coaches get in a groove with the players they have and form an identity.

Have to disagree about the kicking.... Knockoffs weren't bad, other than that they need work. They are fresh out of high school though.

Ruhe. One catch and he showed something we haven't seen from a TE in a long long time. He looked big tall fast and strong. He should develop quite nicely.

Can't guarantee he makes the same throw against an FBS team. Over confidence against a lesser opponent can affect that.

Compared to the last two years it was a huge improvement.
