I’m more concerned about the 3rd quarter after last week.

It’s a major gripe of mine with him. It’s not new to Jerry.

Didn’t get to watch live but we mauled them to start. That was a glimpse of us having a legit defense for the first time in a long long time. Once that mobile qb got in there it was a nightmare though I do feel we did improve a bit later in the second half. Offensively I think the OC was trying to prove a point on film that will pay dividends in the future. We needed to show that stacking the box isn’t necessarily a good option against us and we did a decent, not great, job at that. Lots of improvement to be had on both sides but I see potential with a very inexperienced team. We will improve a ton over the course of the year. Romfro had some bad moments for sure but he got the job done. Jerry should’ve had 2 full series at the end at least. Bubba does a terrible job getting his backup qbs playing time. Even with romfro needing reps I can’t justify not getting the young guy some very valuable experience. Total joke. We left a lot of meat on the bone today and I hope the team is pissed off about that. We did not look good in the middle of this game and I hope Bubba and company are harping on that all week. It was a partially dominant win but we need to get to that next step mentally where we finish the job and grind them to dust down the stretch. Also, is there a mute button so I don’t have to sift through the keyboard diarrhea on this site?

If Jerry doesn’t start the second quarter we have failed as a program

Guys we have a team that won 3 games last year who returns most of their considerable talent coming into our building where we struggle to beat teams. We’re probably a 13 point underdog if you really think about it. They beat Portland St last year. That’s better than any win we had last season. I was shocked that ISUo didn’t get an at large spot in the playoffs. Anyone who is prone to seizures should stay home as the bengal wrs run so fast that they appear to strobe.

I’m making fun of their wrs being future nfl hall of famers but I am also absolutely terrified that we blow this opportunity yet again to the same team for the third time.
